She was everything to him. He only had her. They were inseparable. Always working together at school. Always going out on dates. Always fooling around. Always in their own dreamland.

Nothing else mattered to them if they had each other.

Ah. Young Love.

They were foolishly in love.

Just like what he always said.

"This single lily of mine belongs to you only...,"

He entered the flower shop on usual Friday. His escape from reality. A reality that he couldn't handle.

"Look! Lilies!" She picked one and showed it to him on her palm.

He smiled at her cute gesture. Taking it from her hand, he tucked the flower just beside her left ear.

"Pure and dainty. Just like you my love,"

He pulled out the single lily and put it on the counter.

"As usual?" The guy from the counter asked.

"Yes," he nodded back.

"You are in luck Caspian. Only one purple wrapping left,"

"Which wrapping you want?" He searched through the colorful wrappings.

"Purple! My favorite," she beamed and pulled out one.

"Then it will become my favorite too,"

"That's good," he mumbled back.

The guy behind the counter sighed inwardly. He too was sad to see this guy like that. But there was nothing they could do for that.

They all knew that his life wasn't the same anymore.

But it wasn't his place to tell this poor guy.

He wandered his eyes around the shop, remembering every single thing they did together.

He felt nauseous thinking about the memories.

They met here. He thought about their first meeting which broke a smile on his face.

"Hey! That's mine!" He dropped down the left-over lily immediately.

"Sorry. I didn't-," his words were cut short after seeing the voice's owner face.

An angel. Just one description needed for the girl standing before him.

"It's ok," she beamed back. Her iris eyes sparkling.

He wanted to know this girl who just skipped his heart a beat.

So he said it.

"I'm Caspian by the way," he looked into her eyes.

"Lily," she hugged him.

Holy shit....he thought.
