Neville Longbottom x Reader

A/N - just so you know, there will most likely be kissing in all of them. And it's in year 6. Ok, enjoy! ~Hailey L.

You were in the library studying for your Herbology O.W.L. It wasn't you're favorite subject, or you're best, but you tried.

You were struggling with underwater plants. You sat there trying to read it, but you would space out. You groaned and just laid your head in the Herbology book. You heard footsteps behind you, but you ignored them. They came really close and got your attention.

"Hey (Y/N)!" Neville. You quickly picked your head up and looked at him.

"Hi Neville," you said with a tone of boredom in your voice. You secret,y liked him, since 2nd year. He came up and sat next to you. He put his books on the table.

"What are you doing?" He asked you. You sigh.

"I'm trying to study for the Herbology O.W.L. but I'm failing miserably. I keep getting distracted. I'm close to giving up." You put your head in your hands. Neville shakes your shoulder.

"No, don't give up! Here, I'll help you." He opened his book and you shook your head.

"Oh, no Neville, it's fi-"

"No, it's fine, really. What do you need help with?" You open your book.

"Well, the underwater plants are really getting to me." He nodded. He nodded and flipped to that page, you did too.

"Ok, so we'll start with..."

You two studied for hours. You would study a bit, goof off, and then go back to studying. Neville made it fun and enjoyable. When it was time for dinner, the two of you got up and headed for the Great Hall.

"Thank you so much for helping me Neville, I think now I will do good." You smiled.

"It's no problem. I had fun as well!" You nod.

"Me too," you were almost to the Great Hall.

"And if you need help with anything again, just ask, ok?"

"Ok."  You two get to the Great Hall and go you're separate ways. 

"I'll see you later, (Y/N)!" 

"Ok, bye!  Wait, tomorrow wait for me after the O.W.L."  He nods.  You wave goodbye and sit with Harry, Ron and Hermione, he sat with Dean and Seamus, and you ate the feast with your friends.

After dinner, you walk to the Gryffindor Common Room with the trio.  You say goodnight to them and went to the dormitories.  You get your pajamas on and brush your (H/C) hair, then get into your bed.  You sat in bed for a while going over everything you studied.  When you finished you thought I am so ready for the O.W.L. tomorrow.

You were finally done with your Herbology O.W.L.  You had your (H/C) hair in a ponytail, and when you ran from your seat, you took it out and let it flow free.  When you were out of the Great Hall, you saw Neville waiting by a pillar. You run toward him, he see's you and smiles.

"(Y/N)! How do you think you did?"

"Awesome!" You jump and hug him; you're feet at off the ground. "Thanks to you!" You then realize it might be awkward for him, so you let go and drop down so your feet are on he floor. You look at the floor, embarrassed.

"S-sorry, I was just-"

"No, no, it's ok." He says. You look him and suddenly soft lips connect with yours. You were surprised at first, but then you go with it. You two stand there kissing for what feels like forever.

The two of you finally pull apart and you hear footsteps behind you.

"(Y/N), Neville, are you two...?" Ginny asks. You look at Neville and say,

"I guess we are," he nods and says,

"I guess we are." You two walk, hand-in-hand, your head on his shoulder, back to the Gryffindor Common Room, as a couple.

A/N - well, I don't know about you, but I think this was pretty good. I think the Harry one was better, but I have one coming up that your going to love!! Bye now!! ~Hailey L.
