As our lips met, my head began feeling fuzzy...no it wasn't due to the alcohol! Sure I was completely drunk off my ass, but I was well aware of what was currently taking place.
My entire body grew hot as tingles surged from head to toe. The excitement was still going on around us, although I don't think either of us was paying any attention to it...too into one another to care.
His lips were so soft and full, I could still taste a bit of the Irish whiskey and cream on his tongue from the Irish car bomb he drank with the guys. My hands latched around his broad shoulders as my fingers found their way into his velvety soft hair.
Two strong arms wrapped themselves tightly around my waist pulling me in even closer to him as he gripped onto the back of my dress. The feeling of being in his arms just felt so right.
"Mmm." He moaned against my lips as he pulled away slightly. "I guess this means you forgive me?" His brown eyes twinkled once again as Ethan smirked down at me.
"No you're not forgiven." I pouted as I narrowed my eyes up at him. You see as mad as I was at him for everything that occurred, deep down inside I was still head over heels in love with this guy.
I caught Zac's intense gaze at me from across the room. It tugged at the strings of my heart to see the broken look on his face, but it hurt even more when he tried to be a great friend and smile at me reassuringly...as though he were happy for me...as though he wasn't hurting deep down inside...as though everything was ok. I completely hated myself for being the reason of his pain.
A small smile tugged at my lips as I winked and nodded graciously at my unbelievably handsome best friend. I loved Zac, there was no doubt about it.
"What do you say we get outta here?" Ethan suggested with a raised eyebrow, breaking me away from our private interaction.
Nodding my head in agreement, "I don't remember what room I'm in." I slurred helplessly. It seemed as though most of the people at the party were calling it a night anyways.
He chuckled loudly as he helped usher me out of the hall towards the elevator. "Don't worry love, I found out what room you were staying in when I first got here...just in case I needed to come and beg for your forgiveness."
"Oh yea? Who says you still don't have to beg for forgiveness? You have alot to make up for." I flirted shamelessly. Ethan just brought out a side of me I didn't know I had.
"I'm well prepared to take all the necessary measures needed to get you to forgive me love." He whispered huskily in my ear, causing me to get so turned on by the very sound of his voice. "I'm so sorry...for everything...especially not being honest with you up front." Ethan stated sincerely as we stepped onto the elevator. "I've missed you."
"I've missed you too." I answered back while gripping onto the sides of his jacket and pulling him closer to me. I didn't have to tiptoe to kiss him this time, my heels were pretty high.
I can't believe I've gone a full week without the feel of his lips, they were my personal weakness. We broke away as soon as the elevator dinged, signalling we reached our destinated floor.
He led me all the way to my room with his arm wrapped tightly around my waist, almost as though he was afraid I was going to fall if he let me go.
When we got outside the door, I dug into the front of my dress...fumbling around the inside of my strapless. "Whoa there love, don't you think you should at least wait until we get inside the room?" He asked shocked.
I rolled my eyes at him as I produced the small plastic card...which is better known as the room key from my secret hiding spot and handing it over to him.
