"So, whats the plan?"
"We climb out through the sewers. It's the only way." Brayden answers.
I take a deep breath. "Okay. Can we go now?" I ask.
"Only if your ready."
"I'm more than ready. I just want to get out of this place." I answer with a nod.
"Alright. Lets go. We need weapons from the basement." Brayden walks down the hall. I follow after him.
We reach a small wooden door that i could just fit through.
"Your gonna have to climb through, Hil."
"Okay. What do I get?" I ask.
"Anything you can get your hands on. Be careful." Brayden answers.
"If I'm not out in ten minutes, go without me."
"No! I'm not leaving. Now hurry up so we can get out, ok?"
I climb through the small door, feeling cobwebs surronding me. Probably no one has been down herein years. I cough at the dust, and feel against the wall for a light switch. It's pitch black down here. I feel a switch and flick it. Immediatly the lights come on, blinding me.
I see a table with many weapons and tools. Old weapons, may I add.
Axes, Swords... what year are we in, again?
I grab an axe for me and a sword for Brayden. They werent light to carry, either. I switch off the lights so it looks like no one has been in here, and climb through the small door once again.
"Back!" I call. No Brayden. Where could he be?
"Brayden!" I call down the halls. Still no sign of Brayden. I decide to drop the sword, since its way too heavy to be running down massive halls with.
I spot C at the end of the hallway, talking to someone. I hide in the room beside me, so C and the other man dosent see my weapons.
"Did she leave?" The man asks C.
"No. -and if she did, she wouldnt of gone far." C answers. Are they talking about me?
"Where's the boy then?" The man asks, clearly annoyed.
"Probably with the girl. To be honest, i havent seen him in a while. It wasnt my job to look after him, anyway." C shrugs.
I look around the room and notice a door. I open it slightly. It connects to the next room. The room C and the other man are standing outisde of. I need the be quite, otherwise they could hear me.
"You're an idiot! Why did you et them escape?"
PUNCH!
"I'm sorry!" C rubs the jawline from the punch.
I decide to take action. I open the hotel room door slightly. I crawl out but stand up as soon as the other man sees me.
"Hey! Thats the girl!-" The man starts, but I hit him in the head with my axe before he can say anything else.
Blood oozes from his head, with the axe still hanging in his skull.
"Hilary?"
"Yes?" I turn around to face C.
"Why did you kill him?" he asks, shocked.
"Beacause he punched you...? He was a bad man." I say.
"But thats no reason to murder someone!" C exclaims.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Your the ones killing all my friends! And probably Brayden next... and-and then me! Who knows where my family is!" I shout. C sighs.
"I guess your right. Well, wheres lover-boy Brayden?" C asks.
"We arent together." I say defensivly.
"Whatever. Where is he?" C asks.
"You arent concered about how I managed to find a weapon..? I could kill you, you know-"
"But you wont, because i'm going to help you escape." C cuts in.
"Well, Brayden and i were in the middle of escaping. But... he went missing. So, I'm trying to find him." I explain.
"I see. How were you planning on getting out?" C questions.
"Through the sewers." I answer.
"We don't have sewers... we have pipes through the room but thats it." C furrows his eyebrows.
"Oh. What was Brayden talking about then?"
"I don't know. He's probably lost it by now... with being here its difficult, y'know?"
"Mhm." I agree.
***BRAYDEN'S POV***
"Heh heh heh heh. They'll never know what hit them." I let out a deep chuckle.
"Yes, boss. Are you ready to proceed with Stage 2?"
I turn away from the screen to look at him.
"Yes."
