It had been two days since the holidays had started and everything was pretty much the same, didn't see mum at all and I just hung out watchin' movies and playing with Chloe.
Yesterday mum had told me I was going to Uncle Joe's place and that I was being taken there by one of your friends who just so happens to drive a coal train and hes heading up that way so he offered to take me.
It was 5:30 ish the morning and I had just finished packing my stuff when I heard a horn out the front I slipped on my boots, grabbed my stuff and ran for the front door but not before placing my akubra ruff rider on my head. As I make it out the front door I say my goodbyes to Chloe and run for the car. I wish I could take her with me but mum wont let me.
Brad's short brown hair was covered with an old dirty Mack cap and he had a long sleeve buttoned up farm shirt rolled up at the sleeves and a pare of R.M jeans your basic definition of your average cowboy.
"How you goin' chicken," He asked as I jumped in the front seat.
"Good your self Cowboy?" I ask in return. Brad was like an older brother, my only friend. He's 23, hes only been driving train for a few years. His father drove train to so he just kind of took it over I guess.
"Good, I found me girl, her names Jessica, Jessica Wayne" he replied
"Oh do tell, how did you to meet," and our conversation goes on.

The sun was just rising as we pulled up at the station. swirls of colours, orange, pink and yellows, it was breath taking. i pulled out my phone and took a photo.
"Come on Audrey, we've got to get this to Tamworth before sun down,"yelled Brad as he was chucking his stuff into the train.
"COME-ING!" I Replied grabbing my stuff and jumping into the train.
As I pulled my self up in to the carriage it was much like you would think, dull plain and quite frankly boring.
"Just dump your stuff in that corner," He said pointing to the far corner, "Coffee?" He asked pouring him self a cup.
"Umm no thanks,"I replied placing my stuff in the corner.
I sit down on the one exciting thing in this whole cabin, a spinney chair! I started spinning in circles.
"Uh that's my seat genius out," He said pointing to the boring chair over in the corner. Pouting I Drudge over to it and sit down.
Brad starts the train and we are off.
"So you made any friends yet? or is it still just me?" He asked trying to make conversation.
"Nope just you, I don't see the point really in having friends its to complicated, animals are so much easier." I replied.
"Typical Audrey, you've always preferred animal company than a humans."
"Ha ha very funny... but I suppose its true, sorry bout to go antisocial," I said as I pulled out my iPod.
For the rest of the trip I just stare out the window and think of the 6 weeks ahead of me.
well I walk into the room passing out hundred dollar bills, and kill and the thrills like the horns on my silver-rardo grill...
authors note-
