A young girl, constantly lonely because of her own social phobias, finds shelter under Yagami Light. Strange things begin to happen but trouble always seemed to follow her. Light promises to always protect her but soon, she is doing the protecting.
Two days have passed since I re found my mother. Everything went back to normal, besides the fact Light was still walking me home. I felt a little more at ease with him and every time our eyes meet I felt a little happy. I haven't smiled in front of him yet. He asked why I never smiled once, I didn't answer him. I was thinking about smiles when Light asked me, "Have you heard of Kira?" I nodded and said quietly, "Yes, I hear he is trying to cleanse the world of bad people." He looked over at me asked, "Is that a good thing?" I thought and said, "I-I Think so....I'm just worried, about his powers. Do you think he will try to kill good people after all the bad people are gone?" I never talked this much to him in whole day. He thought and said, "I doubt it." I walked on in silence. Kira. What are you planning?
"Hey, tomorrow, want to do our homework together?" Light asked and I froze in place. He kept walking forward but turned around to look at me. "Oh, don't worry, I won't do anything to you." I looked into his eyes and felt a familiar happiness and a smile tugged on my lips. I let it follow through naturally and suddenly Lights eyes widened.

"I'll take that as a yes." Light said and I nodded. It feels nice to have a friend. Tomorrow, I will be hanging out with a friend. Tomorrow is December 4th.
The 4th came quicker than expected. Light walked me towards his house and he opened the door for me. I took off my shoes and saw Sayu in my face. "You are dating! I knew it." I looked away quickly and Light patted his sisters head with a sigh, "We aren't dating, we are just here to do homework." I agreed with him and he lead me upstairs to his room. He motioned to the bed for me to sit on, so I sat down. I pulled out my homework and a cute muffin pencil. It matched the icon of my blog.
"Want to do math first?" I nodded and Light sat on the bed next to me. I felt the tip of his index finger brush up against my leg and I withdrew myself. I held my homework up to my face with a blush and Light apologized to me saying, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to."

I knew it was an accident. So I stayed put. We started doing math homework and we didn't talk much. We didn't really need to help each other. He finished before me and he put his math away and I finished close behind him. We started doing the rest of the homework when I glanced up at his hard working face. He adjusted his tie ever so slightly and I immediately regretted looking at him. The face he made was so cute. I blushed hard and knew I must look like a red glow stick. Thank God he didn't notice.
I felt him glance at me and I stared down at my homework still feeling flustered. "Hey, maybe, I'm, sometime we should go on a date." My eyes widened and I looked towards him in surprise. He smiled kindly at me and I opened my mouth to respond but nothing came out. My heart was beating so fast as I looked at his handsome face. I want to go with him, if only I had the courage to tell him. I closed my eyes tightly and nodded whispering, "Okay...please, take care of me."
I felt the tips of my fingers get warm and I felt Light's own fingers over mine. Our palms did not touch, just finger tips and I didn't pull away for once in my life.
