I want you forever, forever and always

Through the good and the bad and the ugly

We'll grow old together

Forever and always

*Last December*

I giggled as Dan and I tried to break open a Christmas cracker, him obviously wanting to win, but for one reason or another, it wouldn't work.

"Dan," I whined playfully. "Can we just cut it open or something?"

"Of course we can, sweetheart." He booped my nose before walking into the kitchen to grab a pair of scissors. When he got back, he cut one end off and said, "Now hat that's done, how do we decide who wins it?"

I thought about it for a second. "Rock paper scissors?" I suggested. He chuckled at my childish response before agreeing.

"Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!" We said simultaneously. He picked rock, and I picked scissors. Dang it. I pouted, only slightly joking, as Dan pulled a small velvet box out of the cracker.

He got down on one knee and opened the box, revealing the most beautiful ring I had ever seen.

"Phil Lester, I want you forever. Forever and always. Through the good, and the bad, and the ugly. We'll grow old together! Forever and always. I love you so much. Marry me?"

My eyes start to tear up, and I throw my arms around my loving boyfriend.

"Of course, Dan! I have imagined marrying you for such a long time, and now my dream can come true. I love you."

We lie down on the couch, cuddling.

"Merry Christmas, Philly." He mumbles sleepily.

"Merry Christmas, Bear." I yawn.
