Lucas P-O-V

I don't even know why I asked Riley to be my girlfriend. It's time I move on from Maya. She doesn't like me.

Maya's P-O-V

Riley wants me to meet her at Topangas. The news must be huge. I gotta go get ready. On the way out I saw Lucas. He looked at me and said "are you tired?" Oh yes I said. He said "I'll give you a piggy back ride home." I said "are you serious?" Yea it's a serious piggy back he responded. Gosh he was snappy. I really like that.

Lucas P-O-V

Maya jumped on my back and I felt electric. I gotta get her out of my mind. After this piggy back ride I'm done feeling this way. We were about 5 blocks from her house when it started raining. She screamed. "What?" I said "are you gonna melt?" She laughed and punched me in the arm. She jumped off my back but I pulled her back on and started running. By the time we got to her house we were both soaked and laughing. She said thanks for the ride home. It would have been a lot less fun without you. I said same to you. We both leaned in and were about to kiss when we heard a horn honking. Someone slipped of the road and hit another car. Everyone inside was out but the moment was ruined.

Maya's P-O-V

Lucas Friar almost kissed me. It was pouring outside so I invited him in he gladly accepted. I was shivering from the rain and he took off his jean jacket and wrapped it around me. I said "aw is huckleberry flirting. " he said "ok we almost kissed you can't talk about flirting." I said yea the moment kinda got ruined. He said "don't worry my moment will be my moment" I said I gonna go get changed me and Riley are meeting at Topangas and I'm a mess. I walked up to my room and picked up a pair of shorts and slid them over my pale legs. I picked up a sleeveless shirt and pulled it over a tank top. I put on my converse and ran downstairs. Lucas said wow. I replied what. He said it's just your legs. Their so pale. I laughed and so did he. I knew he was just picking and I said shut up. He said awe are you mad at me. I said oh yes you have no idea. I'm already planning revenge.

Lucas P-O-V

Me and Maya had been flirting every since I came in. I picked on her about her pale legs but they were so beautiful. The perfect length. I snapped out of it. Maya said are you coming or are you just gonna stay at my house. I ran up behind her and lifted her onto my shoulders. She leaned her head down in front of mine and kissed me right on the nose. I was hoping for something on the lips. Ugh I'm Riley's boyfriend I reminded myself. If Maya knew about me and Riley why would she act like this. I said Maya I need to tell you something. She said sure what is it. I said do you know me and Riley are dating. She looked shocked and jumped off my shoulders. She said oh. I'm sorry I didn't know you were acting single and I guess I got caught up.
