Just caught up

Maya P-O-V

I can't believe he was acting like that with a girlfriend I gotta get over him. But first I gotta tell Riley I like him he's been here for 4 months and the whole time I've never said anything. I walked into Topangas and Riley jumped up and ran over to me and pulled me over to the couch.

Riley's P-O-V

I can't wait to tell Maya! I started talking and I said "me and Lucas are.." She cut me off. "Dating" she said. "Yea how did you know". "Lucky guess". "Now I need to tell you something but it's to important for here. Bay window bay window right now" she said

Maya's P-O-V

I was nervous to tell her since their relationship had just started. Well not just they had been dating a while about 2 months actually but they just became official. We went into the window and I did what I do when I'm nervous. I started talking really fast. "I really like Lucas and I've liked him since the subway but I didn't tell you because I didn't want to come in between you two but I guess I already did that. " Riley looked upset but then she smiled.

Riley's P-O-V

I forced a smile. I couldn't believe this. I looked at her and said "it's fine Maya you stepped back for me. Thank you for that. If you want me and Lucas to break up we will." "No way" she said. You two are perfect for each other. YAY!! I squealed.

Lucas P-O-V

I couldn't believe I did that with Maya. I have a girlfriend but Maya's gives me a feeling throughout my body nobody else gives me. I don't know what it is. It's official. I'm gonna forget about my romantic feelings for Maya. Just friends.

3 months later

Riley P-O-V

"Hey boyfriend" I said as Lucas walked by. Hey smiled and said "oh hey". "Are you free tonight?" "Yes". I replied. "Movies?" He said. I smiled and said sure. The final bell rang and Maya came to the lockers where me and Lucas were.

Lucas P-O-V

It's been a while and I'm finally over Maya. We are supposed to walk home today so we decided to do it together. Me and Riley were holding hands and walking towards the door.

Maya's P-O-V

It's been a while since I told Riley I liked Lucas. I was pretty much over him now. I thought of him as a friend and I knew he felt the same. I ran to catch up with them and got on the other side of Lucas. We were walking and out hands brushed against each other's. I felt a volt shoot through my body.

Lucas P-O-V

Our hands touched. Something shot through my body. I pushed it away not knowing how I felt but then I felt it again.

Maya's P-O-V

Dang it! It happened again. Why were we walking so close to each other. I stepped away from him because we were just friends I said over and over in my head.

Riley's P-O-V

Lucas and Maya had been quiet the whole time. I tried to start a conversation. So whose ready for our trip next week I asked. Maya looked at me out of the corner of her eye and said "you mean the one to the ski lodge?" Yea I said I'm so happy. Maya looked at me like I was crazy.  She said "nature always messes things up have you not heard your dads stories?" Of course I had it's all he talked about but I had faith it wouldn't be like that here.

Maya's P-O-V

NATURE!  Something bad always happens in nature. Riley told me I was totally ridiculous. The next day at school Mr.Matthews was explaining the trip when none other than Joshua Matthews walked in. I smiled and jumped on his back. I started blushing. He laughed and boosted me onto his shoulders.

Farkles P-O-V

I smiled because of how cute Maya was when she flirted with Josh. I looked over briefly at Lucas and he looked mad. Very mad. I didn't know why I looked at Riley and saw he had no reason to be mad at her. Was he jealous of Josh?

Lucas P-O-V

Why did I feel like this? I know I want to protect Maya. But why do u wanna protect her? Because she's my friend. Just friend.
