I shifted from foot to foot uncomfortobly."Madeline!" he yelled. A small framed girl with long bleach blond hair scrambled out from one of the corridors."Yes,sir?" "Get me my box." She nodded and went on her way back down to the halls. He turned to me," You can be so quiet," I stood silent. "That's okay.You know what,Why don't we go on a little field trip? Yeah?" I stood with my eyes a bit wide,but silent. "That's a yes then." It felt weird being with him only,no doubt he was attractive,but he gave me a weird vibe now that we were alone.I don't know if its just me being a bit crazy,but I can't keep forgetting that these guys captured me,I shouldn't be trusting anyone(not that I do),and
I need to watch my back a lot better. "Madeline,what the hell is taking you so long?!" He waited
for a response but nothing came.A loud crash came from the lonng hallway the girl had left through and something else that sounded like muffled screams. He sighed heavily before pulling out his handgun from his waistband,he pulled out another from his leather jacket( leather jacket,really?) and handed it to me,then pulled a small pocketknife from his sock."Use the knife and if that doesn't work,than use the gun.Got it,sweetcheecks?" This wasn't the time for nicknames. He walked at a slow pace toward the hall. I could feel my heart thumping in my chest,if this is what it is,then it'll be the second altercation of the day. I'm not able to handle all of this. I followed,taking baby steps because if there was something wrong then he's dying first.We reached a room and the door was left slightly ajar,Avan kicked open all the way revealing a person in all black.Very tall,and lanky,probably a male.His hands gripped his gun as it was pointed to us. Eww,his hands were ashe,and his fingernails needed to be taken care of; they were dark and chewed up almost to the point there was no nail left."Who the hell are you? and why you in my house?" Avan growled.
The masked man walked backwards bumping into something then stopping."This ain't your house,and you got what we want.And you know we wont stop till we get it,so quit fighting back."
"Get the fuck out my house before I blow your ass up!"
The masked man merely chuckled.
"Damn Avan,its funny how all of this turnt out,ain't it? From being inseparable to wanting to shoot each other dead. You haven't told them shit of us have you,cause I'm sure you know that Matt is aware of the past but your little buddies aren't."
"Get out." he whispered lowly.
"I can't Avan, I gotta kill you first.All them times I've always missed this is my chance and I'm not gonna fucking miss it."
"There's only one of you."
"Really Avan,are that stupid? Don't you know there's never only one of me.I don't walk alone Avan,I never walk alone."
"I swear to God Jeremiah...."
"Swear to God what? You know you shouldn't swear to God,your using his name in vain."
"You don't even believe in God."
" Fuck that,what's that got to do with anything? Hey,who the hell is that? She kinda fine,man.You hit that yet,and if you haven't,when you done can I have her.That's the least we could do to rekindle this relationship,share bitches like we use to.But you got greedy sometimes,remember?"
"I'm not giving her out!"
"You still didn't hit it?!"
"Naw,man."
"Damn! You've lost touch! Ha! Look,can we just get thus done so I can go home please,its been a long day."
"Alright,whoever lives gets the girl."
"That's my man.Ready?" Avan nodded. They raised their guns and aimed."No! Stop!" I yelled in attempt to stop them.No use. Avan's gun went off first hitting the guys in the shoulder.He staggered back and his ashe hand flying to the wound."Ah,shit!" he looked back at Avan but seemed to be staring past him."Get the hell out of here before we finish you off for good." a familiar voice said.I spun around to find Drew and Daniel at the door,weapons drawn. The boy stood straight before climbing out the broken window he had came through. I raced to the maid crouched on the floor trembling." Oh my God,are you okay?" she nodded her bottom lip trembling."Ah!" I turned to where the sound came from.Avan collapsed to the ground clutching at his stomach,I raced over to him lifting his hand from his stomach.His hands were drenched with blood and his eyes fluttered as he was in and out of consciousness."Call an ambulance!" I shouted.
"No,we can't we'll go to jail!"
"So,he's dying!" Daniel fisted his hair as he paced back and forth.
"I have an idea,come on!Pick him up." We struggled lifting his heavy body off of the floor and out into the car.
"Angel..." he whispered.
"Yes?" Ugh,no emotions involved.They are bad people.He grabbed my wrists tightly.
"Don't let me die.Please...just...don't le-....don't let me die."His firm grip loosened as he struggled to speak.Oh God,please,no. It was taking to long,I knew we were losing him.
