The Day When Its Forever

Story 1

" Happy birthday Hari! my little girl!"
"Nana! Thank you so Much!"
She is called Hari short for Hariath within the close family, it sounds like a man's name but she enjoys it so she don't react about it. It was her Grandmother, the mother of her father, the great Lady Sophia. For the celebration of her 18th birthday, they said that when you reach 18 you will be a complete woman, but she think it's really just an age.
It was attended by her close friends, and some political friends of her father.
Her mother died when she was 5, she was suffering from Leukemia a rare deadly blood disease, which was unfortunately got by her mother through family illness genes. That's why her father was very strict with her health especially that she is her mothers child. She was diagnosed and for the bad luck of her blood, she also got the disease but it still can be cure.
"Are you happy my child? "
She smiled at the old lovely woman.
"No I'm not, I'm extremely happy!"
Nana smile and give her a sweet hug.
The next morning a sudden messenger came and brought a confidential letter addressed to her name. She is now in front of her father in his office.
"The Lord of Gracilli ask for your hand in marriage."
She was shock by the sudden news.
"Marriage?"
"Yes, well I never meet him before but I heard news about him, his an excellent man and a very wealthy one."
"Wait, I don't know him too, I don't care if he's rich, I don't even know his face."
"Well the proposal was good so I already said, yes."
"What! HOW? Why Father?"
"Your already your age Hariath and marriage will be your next step, so why not now."
"That's not it, I just turn 18, this is unreasonable! How could you agree without asking me first."
"That's why I'm telling you right now."
Hari was full of anger towards her father that she even look at her with fierce eyes.
"I will not marry an old man, and i will find my own husband so don't worry about my marriage!"
"Hariath! "
Hari run away and went to her room, the whole night she cried and cried, how could her father decide her marriage that eager?
The next morning she went to the library which is one of her happy hour, reading!
As she was reading some quotes she came to read a quote from "ANONYMOUS " which says; "Live your life the way you like to live it. Your journey is yours alone and no one else."
Hari glance at the book for so long and stand up so suddenly.
"Yeah,this is not right! I should live my life on my own terms and not just with my fathers wishes!"
Then she made a decision that will change her life forever.
