" A birthday party?"
"Yes Madame, it's the birthday of Senator Thompson, a good friend of Master Herald, the Lord's father.''
Hady was in her bed holding a new book while Graham get her things ready, it looks like become her Butler as well.
"So, will you explain why are you putting my things in the luggage.''
''Because you are coming with us."
"Why?"
"Because the Lord say so, and who would left a lady alone in a big mansion?"
"I'm a man, you must not forget that."
"Gotta go."
"Wait, can't I say something?"
They were in a carriage travelling to New Camedor where the house of the old friend, she was sitting beside Graham because she don't like the idea of keeping so close to Eris  in this long travel. Eris was looking at her while she can't read her new book properly.
" Hady, why are you sitting there and not here?"
Eris point the sit beside him.
"There's no sitting arrangement, I can sit whenever I want right, Mr. Graham?"
"Ahem, as far as I know, you can sit wherever you want Sir."
Hady just smile and continue reading while Eris look at Graham in awe, the latter just bow his head. When they reach the big farm mansion, he was introduced as a friend and they get separate exclusive rooms and get ready for the party. She went out of his room at the same time Eris did. He look more handsome, clean cut shave and new hair cut, she was mesmerized for a while, then he smile, that same smile that made her speechless and clumsy.
''You look you, nice suit."
Hady was brought back to reality, that she wears a suit instead of a dress.
"Ah, I was just, you too, you look you."
"Are you nervous, don't be it's just a party, you can enjoy it or not, it depends on you."
"I know that."
Women starts clinging on them, especially that they are not the average face than it seems. While eating some fruits she was looking at the women beautifully dressed and groomed. She look at her suit, it really is for a man.
"Are you jealous?''
She almost swallowed a whole grape.
"Mr. Graham!  Will you not appear just like that again!"
"Sorry Madame, I just can't help looking at you pitying yourself when you have all the time in the world to be you."
"Just stop the Madame word, there's a lot of people here."
"It's okay they don't know you."
Hady heavily sigh.
''Yeah, I was thinking right now, when will the day come that Eris will smile to me like that as a woman. But I guess, why would I even ask for it, since I choose to be like this."
Graham grab her slender shoulder.
"Then let me be your fairy tonight and let's not waste time until midnight.''
"What?"
"Lets go."
She was dragged to a girls room in the mansion which was a ladies guest room. A red dress was lying in the bed which makes Hadys eyes got more bigger.
"That dress!"
"Your going to wear that tonight Madame."
"Me? Tonight?But Mr. Graham?"
"Its okay, ill arrange everything, just be you tonight, and be beautiful as you really are."
Hady don't know how to express her delight to the butler so she just hug him without any words.
"I don't really know if ill thank you since this is not a very good idea but it makes me happy, thank you Mr. Graham."
"There, there, i still need time to transform you.''
After a few minutes, many women still flock at Eris, knowing a young and super rich Bachelor in need of wife and a Lord from Gracilli is at the corner.
While Eris was busy looking around for Hady who was suddenly  lost.
"Where did that little man go"
A woman with a sexy  dress ask him aggressively.
"Tell me Mr. Scorbacht, since i heard that your finding for a suitable wife candidate, what kind of wife do you like?"
"Well, Mademoiselle, I did want to answer you with honesty, I like women with big eyes, A dazzling smile, not so tall, small enough to hold her with my both hands and,"
Eris pause, aren't he defining  the qualities of Hady? He shook his head, why would Hady be the definition of his ideal girl when he was a boy?
"And, anything else? "
"And, clumsy, bookish, rude and a good complainant."
The woman was confused.
''What an idealism.''
''Yeah, that kind of qualities exist.''
Eris whisper.
" If only she's a woman.''
He left the ladies and walk towards the stares when a lady dress in a red gown off  shoulder was walking down the stairs as well, they walk towards each other, she has a long curly hair with red cheeks and on top of that, she is the only one wearing a black glittery mask as if the mysterious one among them.
She just walk pass him and walk on the hall, while men are giggling and staring at the masked lady. He did not continue his way up but instead just stood there while holding a glass wine. Its as if he was blown with something familiar.
"My Lord, would you like something to eat?"
"Oh, Graham where's Hady?"
"Sir Hady was tired and went to sleep, he didn't tell you cause you seemed enjoying your company."
"Is he."
His eyes was drawn to the woman in red, who was drinking with some Champaign, Graham smile silently.
"You really are into dress."
"What did you say?"
"Nothing My Lord, it seems that somebody caught your attention."
"Well, just a by passer I guess."
''If you just let it pass, it will really be just a by passer."
He looked at him with meaning. Since men are flocking her way, she just went to the family library.
"Is it noisy there?"
She face the voice at the back, it was Eris, he was in the library before her. Why is he here. She calm herself and begun talking to him in her girly voice.
" I guess it is, since you are also sheltering here."
"I was the first one to come here, but i will welcome you at least."
Hady frowned, this conversation is familiar, like the first time they meet while hiding in the trash bin.
"You really are territorial."
"Excuse me?"
The lady did not talk and continue browsing some books.
" Do you like books?"
"Id rather prefer it when people think that I like books."
Eris smile with her humor.
"Do we know each other, I mean behind that mask, have I meet you somewhere? It seems that we knew each other for a long time."
Hady stop and look at him.
" We do."
