The Day When Its Forever

Story 4

It was already dark outside while Hari just finish her Dinner. Beside a vet care is a Motel where she and that man rented, it's just that she don't know what was his name and it's unpleasant to leave him alone in the center. She went outside and the door just across her is where that man is sleeping. She knock but who cares,  he's still asleep and the wound seemed deep in his right shoulder. She went in and sit beside his bed. She believe that he was a good person, she can see it in those dark brown gorgeous eyes. That was the only time she had crush to an eyes not written on those books that she collected. It was neither a painting or an art, it was the eyes of this man.
She look at him while specifying those fine face.
"Your forehead is nice, the book of face reading told me that the forehead is the path of your future, it's a bright future for you."
She smile and tap his hand.
"You will not die, I promise."
When morning came, Hari woke up because of the noise outside the street. She look at the window and saw Police Officer ransacking the market place holding a piece of paper that she believed as a picture. Her forehead narrowed,  don't tell me,,
"Is that my picture? Oh God!"
Her father is already on the move. She rattled and quickly prepare her bag and shoes for a longer travel. She needs to say goodbye first to the man but there's no time, when she was about to take the stairs she heard the voices of the police inside the reception area.
"May we ask if you have seen this lady before?"
"Uhm, sorry but we only have four men checked in."
"Do you mind if we check the room."
"Ah, but!"
She hurriedly went back but stop, if she went to her room they will find her, she then went inside the man's room and hide there while holding her breath. She sneak into the door and she was right they we're checking each room.
"Why are they doing this to m--"
"Did you do something wrong?"
She quickly look at the back where the man was getting dress, she was surprise to see him half naked and close her eyes suddenly.
"I-I'm sorry, i was in a hurry,  I did not notice you were awake."
The man look at her with confusion.
"Why is your eyes close? Were both men here."
Hari laugh so hard, she always forget her identity.
"Ahaha, yeah,men, hahaha, of course not."
The man came near her, and she back off but it was already walls and she can't move while he was very near.
"Aren't we both men, why are you?"
"Are you hiding from them?"
She paused for a while.
"I, I was just --"
A knock was heard on the door.
"Excuse me Sir, can we ask you something?"
They looked at each other.
