This is honestly pissing me off. I know I do not have the right to be jealous but sitting beside two persons who completely acts like a couple is very irritating. I believe he invited me to watch the movie and not Lucy. I am so going not going the next time he invites me to do something.
"You okay there Princess?" Hunter asks me as he finally rips away from Lucy
"Peachy" was all I answered back
"What's wrong with you?" he asks
"Nothing really" I say not taking my eyes off the screen
"Popcorn?" he tries to hand me his popcorn
"No thanks, I'm all good" I answer crossing my arms and just focusing on the movie
"Alright then" I hear him sigh and he again turns to talk to Lucy. Great, you're officially the third wheel tonight Candace. Bravo.
After a while, Hunter turned back at me again.
"Are you enjoying the movie Princess?" he whispers in my ear
"Yeah, so far so good" I tried my best to give him my smile
"Are you sure there's nothing wrong?" he asks scooting closer to me
"Yeah, I'm sure" I just say
"Are you sure you're not sick or anything? Do you just wanna head back home?" Hunter asks me concerned. Your practically concerned for me when your girlfriend is right there beside you.
"Let's just finish the movie" I did my best to keep my smile
"Just tell me if you want to go home Princess and we will go" he says as he leans back into his seat
Throughout the movie, I was thankful that Lucy and Hunter didn't start kissing. He has managed to ruin my night once more. I thought this was a hangout of mine and his and I honestly thought that we would enjoy it but apparently, Lucy just had to come in and ruin this day. I do not even know her last name! Is she one of Hunter's ex? Is Hunter courting her at the moment? He hasn't told me anything about a girl. But why would he tell you? You barely tell him things. Why are you acting like this Candace?
"I truly enjoyed today Hunter, thank you so much for the time and you too Candace" Lucy says as we exit the cinema
"Sure thing Lucy" Hunter says and I just manage to give her my fake smile
"I think I'm going to the ladies room first, do you want to join me Candace?" Lucy then says
"Yeah, you better go to the bathroom before we leave so we wouldn't have to stop by somewhere. I'll be waiting here" Hunter says as he pushes me towards Lucy
"O-okay then" NOT, I say as I walk side by side with Lucy to the bathroom
As soon as we reached the bathroom, Lucy just went in the cubicle while I just waited.
"I know what you're thinking Candace" Lucy says as she comes out
"What?" I ask dumbfounded
"I'm a Stone too" Lucy chuckles. Great, Hunter is actually married at the age of 18.
"Hunter is my cousin, not an ex, or a lover, or anything for that matter" she states
"Oh..." was all I could say. I was jealous for nothing. Why are you even jealous Candace? Hunter isn't yours.
"I know it was rude of me to not let you know that I am his cousin but I just wanted to see how it would play out" she winks
"Well, that's mean" I huff as I lean on the sink
