I agreed that day to Hunter's deal. If I lost, I would be his girlfriend. It seemed like a win-win situation anyways.
"You ready to head out?" Sarah asked me, disrupting my thoughts about Hunter.
"Yeah, anytime you are" I sigh. Today is what Sarah calls 'Best Friend' day where I basically give her company while she goes shopping for all kinds of clothes. It always gets tiring because I'm not really interested in clothes for that matter.
"I need a new pair of shoes Candace. I think I need a new top too with matching pants. Oh, how about a new bag as well?" Sarah continues to chatter until we both get into the car
"You already have a lot of clothes, why do you even have to buy more?" I groan
"If you remember correctly Ms. Whining around, my clothes are your clothes as well. So you should be thanking me for this. Without me, what would you even wear to your hot dates?" Sarah winks and we both start heading to the mall.
Have I mentioned that shopping with Sarah is the worst? If I did, then I'd gladly say it again. Shopping with Sarah is the worst! We're both inside a lingerie shop where in she's making me try on lingeries.
"No Sarah, I'm not putting that on!" I yell at her for the nth time
"Look how cute you'll look in this!" she raises the bra up in the air and gushes at it
"Then just buy it for you, not me!" I complain
"Come on please?" She gives me puppy face
"Nope, that's not going to work" I pick up our bags and start walking to the exit of the store
"Imagine what Hunter's reaction will be like if he sees this!" Sarah yells and chases me to the exit
"I don't care about what Hunter says" I turn around to face her
"Really now? I bet you'll love to loose the prank so you can be his girlfriend" Sarah winks and I blush. I kinda wanna loose it.
"Maybe I do but it's my pride at stake. There's no way I'll loose to Hunter especially that I started all of this" I say to her
"Actually, he started all of this when he dumped that spaghetti plate on your head" Sarah laughs and I just shake my head at the memory.
"Let's forget about Hunter for a while okay? How about we head to the food court cause I'm really looking for food right now" I say then my tummy makes a sound
"Okay, we can go. Start walking woman" Sarah commands me and I just roll my eyes.
After we ate, we went around the mall to look for stuff we'd like to get and just to fool around. Sarah pointed to something behind me and her eyes went wide like saucers.
"What is it?" I say looking behind me looking for anything that shows me what Sarah's looking at
"Uhhhh. Candace? Stop looking around and stop moving" she says and she starts to stammer
"What is it? Is there something on my shoulder?" I look at my shoulder to see nothing there
"Don't look back, it's probably nothing" she mutters
"What is it?" I turn around once more and as I looked to my left, I saw an oh so familiar guy. The reason why I left London.
Jackson Waters.
"I think I'm gonna die" Sarah and I quickly run out of the mall and into the car
"He's just probably shopping and what are the chances of you seeing him again right?" Sarah tells me
