I'd been a month since the party happened, she was barely allowed to go out if it was just to take out the trash or run an errand. There was not one day she didn't think about Harry though, and she hoped that he crossed her mind once in a while as well. She had nothing to look forward to anymore, school started next week and her cousin had already left to college. The house was empty, it was just her and her uncle now. She sat on the small bench in front of her makeup desk, humming along to her Todd Rundgren record. A knock on her room door broke her out of the peaceful spell she was in, she opened the door and her uncle was there. He wasn't very tall, just some inches taller than her, he was very tan, his black hair was taken up by gray hair now and his eyes were brown like hers.

"I need you to run to the supermarket, while I go to the store next door, I need some new tools.

"Okay, I'll go get ready." She gave him a small smile before closing the door and changing into some casual clothes. Her jeans were a dark blue that flared at the end, she wore a simple yellow blouse, and her brown boots. She applied a little to none mascara, grabbed her small wallet and closed her room door. Her uncle was already outside in the car, she got in the seat next to him and closed the door. The drive was quite between them, the only noise was the car engine and the soft music that was on the radio. She looked out the window, looking at the houses they passed. She was so disconnected with the world that when she heard her uncle talking she became tense. "Sorry, what was that?"

"I said get out the car we're here. Here's the money, don't buy so much junk food." She nodded and got out the car, closing the door behind her. She walked up to the supermarket, when she turned around her uncle was already gone. She grabbed a cart from outside and began buy what they would need, she grabbed grapes, strawberries, blueberries, apples, bread, milk, meat, and eggs. When she walked to the the register, there he was. He recognized him immediately and he looked even more beautiful with the all the bright lights showing all his features. He wore a plain stripped shirt and a pair of ordinary denim jeans, and some white Nike's. He dressed like any other boy she knew.

The girl from the party was there, she stood there so innocently. He walked up to her, she looked like she was going to throw up. "Hey."

"Hi." She peeped out quietly, looking at her worn out boots. "What are you doing in Davis?"

"I'm heading back to New York tonight, I just stopped by to get a small snack and a drink for the trip." New York was only an hour away, she questioned in her head why he needed to get a snack, but maybe he was just hungry now. "How are you?" he asked snapping her out of her thoughts.

"I'm okay, but I've been locked up for the rest of the summer."

"Oh, that sucks, I'm sorry." She gave him a little chuckle.

"It's whatever though because I start school next week, I won't even have time to go out anyways." She shrugged.

Before he could stop himself, his words spilled out like a river, he couldn't stop them. "Hey, come to New York with me."

Her eyes widened like was he crazy?" You're crazy, I can't leave. My uncle would kill me."

He knew she wouldn't go, she was only 16. She was just a kid. "When your uncle coming?"

"20 minutes the most? Why?" He grabbed her hand and took her out of the supermarket, leaving her cart unsupervised.

"Where are you taking me?" She asked panicking as he directed them to a car. It was a yellow Chrysler of this year, that costs a fortune. He opened the passenger for her and she looked at him. "I said where are you taking me?"

"Nowhere, I just want to get high, get in." She couldn't no to that. She got in the passenger seat and he closed the door behind her. He walked to the driver seat and closed the door behind him. He pulled out a brown paper bag and unrolled it revealing drug. He grabbed the already rolled blunt and put it against the cigarette lighter receptacle. He took in the smoke and held it in his lungs for a few seconds before exhaling. He looked so beautiful. He handed her the blunt. He looked at her smoke, the smoke coming out of her nose and mouth, even with the illegal substance in the air she still looked innocent and it was killing him.

They finished smoking the drug and sat there in silence looking straight ahead of them. "Hopefully the next time we hang out ill be sober," the laughed, his eyes were glossy and were barley opened that made her laugh even harder.

"What?" he asked laughing as well even tho he didn't know what was funny. They were having the time of their lives together. They cracked jokes, laughed at each other, and thought of ideas that seemed amazing at the moment, but probably not later on. They sat in silence, then she freaked out when she realized the supermarket was now closed. "Oh my God, what time is it? I'm gonna be in so much trouble now."

"Relax, relax, don't worry it's all going to be okay." He placed his hands on her cheeks and caressed them both. She calmed down a little and looked at him. His eyes were bloodshot and his cheeks were flustered. He leaned in and closed his eyes in hopes she'd kiss him back. She looked as he neared to him, she too, closed her eyes and expected the best. Their lips touched, his lips were so soft against hers. The kiss was soft and gentle, she never wanted it to end. He ran out of breathe and broke the kiss. He looked at her, she looked so beautiful in the night light. Her cheeks were pink, her lips a soft pastel pink and her black hair and eyebrows made the perfect contrast to light skin.

For so long she waited for a boy to at least like her for a little and there he was. He was so beautiful, she was even happy she waited for the best. She was just not expecting him to be 6 years older and to be so breathtaking.
