An affair

Ronan's POV

Lara was in the small room adjacent to my office. She apparently needed some privacy. 

"She is the right choice" I told my wolf despite his whining 

I had always thought myself to be unlucky never getting the chance to meet my mate. My wolf always yearned for her and was telling me for the past year that she was near us but I couldn't find her. I had lost hope by now and when Lara came to me a few months ago with her proposal of an alliance and a mating to merge our packs it sounded the most reasonable thing to do. 

Though my wolf is not happy but I think Lara is the perfect choice for me. I have waited to long for her. I have searched each and every pack but have never found her. Either she is not born yet (frustrating) or she is dead (unimaginable for me and my wolf both). 

Lara has promised me that if I ever found my mate she would leave me willingly. But I know that after marking and mating her it would be very difficult for me to form another mating bond with my mate.

"Darling are you ready for me."

I turned my head and gazed at her amazing figure. She was wearing a black lingerie and was looking seductively at me. 

I had been with many women before but no one was like her, bold and beautiful. This would be our first time together. I would make it memorable for her. With that thought I rose and took her in my arms. Her curvaceous body was mine for tonight and for every coming night. 

"Make love to me honey." 

She moaned as I peeled off every layer of clothing from her body.

Kara's POV

I was in a large room at the top floor of the mansion. The view through the window showed the whole forest as we were at considerable height. The room was giant with a king size bed in the centre. Black silk sheets made the bed more than presentable. Beautiful paintings had adorned the walls. 

A single bed was also arranged for me near the window. I just laid down and started waiting for the alpha. My heart was plummeting in my chest. I had never spent a night alone with any man before. Well to be honest I had never even spent a single minute alone with a man before and here I was waiting for an Alpha.

 After 2 hours I heard an activity outside the door. Some body was giggling and perhaps making out. A few minutes later I heard a faint good bye and then a knock at the door, followed by alpha Ronan's voice.

"Are you decent? can I come in."

What was he thinking. I had never even taken off my veil in front of him and here he was imagining me to be "indecent".

"You can come in" 

I replied and then I put my hands on my mouth. What had I done I had broken the first rule he made for me

"Never to talk to him"
