Kara's POV
I was standing in my room looking out through the window. The sea view always soothed my nerves. My tower was built in deep waters so that I couldn't escape and also so that other wolves couldn't reach me. There was no boat for me to row. Whenever I was needed at the pack territory a boat would be sent.
"Where are you Kara, Oh there you are I have been looking for you every where."
It was Arab.
"I have brought your dress. Get ready, the boat is leaving in half an hour. OH I have to do so many chores. I am going downstairs. Try to be quick, Ok."
I nodded and Arab was gone.
Soon I reached downstairs. Arab was already in the boat. Beta Gonzalez was here to take us. He was an old man old enough to be my grandfather. He had always been kind to me. Other than Arab I had only chatted with him in this pack. The Alpha had made it clear on my first day in the pack house that only two people Arab and Beta Gonzalez would talk with me. Other wise I would only use writing to communicate.
"How are you my lady." He asked in a friendly tone.
"Oh I am fine sir. Tell me about yourself and how is your lovely mate doing" I replied.
"She is always whining about how she is still childless. I tell her that it is not in our fate to become parents but she never listens."
"I would pray to the lord for her." I replied which made him burst out in laughter.
"Dear the only child I can get in this age would be you. Do you want me to adopt you."
His reply shocked me
"Sir why don't you and Arab get affected by my so called attraction." I asked intently
"Only those were wolves who are resolute, kind and brave can overcome this attraction. Once they come to know you they would be your most faithful friends. SO i would recommend that choose your friends very carefully. This world of supernaturals is a very dangerous world. You have already lost your tribe for which I am sorry but don't loose hope. Ronan is a good man, he would be just to you."
Arab was listening to our dialogue for the past five minutes interjected at that moment.
"He is right you know. Don't be afraid and every thing will be fine, Now lets go the pack house Alpha is waiting for us."
