High Priestess (Completed)

The Ordeal

Kara's POV

The Second round was finished and the council men had given the participants an hour to relax... Alpha Bane was near the council's platform mind-linking with them....

The council men motioned the audience to be silent and started the last announcement of the day

"Dear friends thanks for attending the Lovers Games... We are at the end now...and have decided that instead of three hours the wolf who would keep the priestess for three days and impregnate her during this time would be the ALpha King of werewolf world... Therefore we want you all to wait here during this time.. After three days we will meet here to see who is our new king. Now I will ask the warriors to step aside so that our priestess could have a two hour head start"

As the announcement was being made I could feel a presence in my head...It was Alpha Ronan he was showing me a place in the mountains to hide...He also told me that he would come there and meet me....

Though I was praying for him...but still... did I want to be discovered by him.. 

Alphas Bane voice brought me out of my thoughts 

"What about the mate bond... He can communicated with her... And they can plan to elope together.."

Bane pointed at Ronan and asked the Council members

"The priestess is a human and though he has marked her but we cannot feel any bond between them..so don't worry about that Alpha Bane.. "

The third round starts now...

 "As I ran into the forest all eyes were at me including those intense ones...I ran through the trees..My feet were taking me to the mountains.. Did I want to go there... My love for him was like a roller coaster ride... I was enthralled by him and yet I was afraid at the same moment to take the next leap.. 

As I was running I spotted some drones... I mind linked him....He told me to go further into a secluded spot of the forest with dense growth... I squeezed through the shrubs and found an opening to a tunnel... I entered the opening as directed by him... and I was sure that the drones.... didn't spot me this time

The tunnel took me to the mountains.. Once I was there I walked through many caves and reaching a big one..

This cave was filled with water.. Ronan directed me to swim down as the water will take me to another hidden cave... I took his directions and entered another cave ... A number of tunnels were leading from the cave...  I took one of the tunnels which was going high up in the mountain.. Soon the tunnel lead me into a small cave at the top of the mountain... It was the season of high tide and if I knew that all lower tunnels will soon get filled up with water...

I was safe at last... No one would find me here.... except him

Did I want myself to be found by him.....He was a werewolf too and today I was the prey of his kind...

Though he was a fair man and a fair Alpha.. but his relationship with me had been rocky...

One thing else the intensity in his eyes when he looked at me was too much for me... Could I handle his attention in this small space for three days...
