I breathed heavily and wiped more sweat off my face. Today had been a long day and Nobody thought it would be best to go even harder on us. I didn't want to admit but it paid off. I had improved in my target skills as well as my observation skills. Shooting the centre target was a piece of cake for me so I knew I'd have no problem using the gun.
I walked over to Peter who looked like he was having a serious conversation with Brie. They had gotten pretty close as the days passed. Peter even surprised me when he told me that they would hang out after training and on days when there was no training. He would rant about how awesome, funny and great she was while I had to hold in a sigh. Peter in love was a crazy one alright.
I rested my elbow on his shoulder, ending their conversation. "What're you two up to? Alone for that matter." This was revenge for creating rumours about Velvet and I. The difference between Peter and I was that he could never seem to be annoyed.
Instead of grunting, he chuckled while Brie blushed. I blinked, not expecting those reactions and sighed in defeat.
"We were just talking about what movie to watch. Can't decide between Red Stage and Mystic Dawn," Peter explained.
Velvet suddenly popped up out of nowhere that it startled me. She turned to me first with a warm smile. "Hey," she greeted.
I waved back. It was the first time we had interacted again since the other day. If Peter wasn't staring like a creep, I would've even had tried to have a conversation with her.
Peter glanced between her and me and sent me a sly grin. I rolled my eyes and looked over at Velvet, hoping that she wouldn't catch me staring. She was currently talking to Brie.
"Sorry I took so long. Nobody sensei needed me to arrange the equipment with James and Zack," she told Brie.
Brie waved a hand. "Ah it's cool. Just stuck here on what movie to watch."
"You guys should see Mystic Dawn," Velvet suggested.
"That's what I said!" Peter said to her with a smile.
Velvet smiled back. "I really enjoyed the games when I was a kid so it'd be nice to watch it for nostalgia's sake."
Peter suddenly turned his gaze to me and I gulped. There was a scary look in his eyes which meant that he had an idea. And boy were those never a good thing.
"Are you busy Velvet?" he asked her.
Velvet thought for a minute before giving him an answer. "Not today, no."
Peter then sent me a devious grin. "Well, since you're not busy and Seb's not busy, why don't you two join us? Make it a double date."
I raised my eyebrows and stared at Peter in terror. Velvet on the other hand was taken aback. Wanting to see her reaction, I saw that she was lightly blushing and rubbed the back of her head.
"Well we're not really a couple so I don't know...are you okay with that Sebastian?" she asked me.
All eyes were on me and I couldn't help but glare at the stupid yet clever blonde. I sighed. I had nothing to do at home and with the situation at hand, maybe staying alone with a stalker wasn't the best of choices.
I shrugged. "Sure we'll come."
Peter smiled. "What movie?" he asked.
"Don't care," I said truthfully.
Peter nodded. "Guess we're seeing Mystic Dawn Brieno," he said to Brie.
Brieno? They even reached nickname base. I was impressed. I couldn't even remember the last time Peter hit nickname base with a girl.
