"C'mon. C'mon. C'mon," the annoying voice repeated. I grunted and was tempted to eat my toast slowly but I didn't want any more whining.

I kept eating my toast at a normal pace while glaring at Peter. I was already dressed, prepared and ready to go while he hadn't even gathered his belongings.

The reason why Peter was more hyper than usual today was because of the meeting we had with the Head of the TSN force. That's right; a meeting with the TSN force. If it weren't any more obvious we had been accepted into the military just a few days ago and had to meet up with them at the main training ground.

I was nonchalant before and after I received the post so my mood hadn't changed much but if Peter kept rushing me I might have to let off a bit of steam.

"I'm so gonna kill this meeting," Peter said. He wasn't looking at me but I knew he was talking to me so I responded with a nod. "Aren't you excited?" He asked, now glancing at me.

I shrugged while chewing on my last piece of toast. "I guess," I answered after I was done.

"You guess? Dude, we're about to go up against the biggest threat in Tekuni and you're not sure?" he questioned with some humour laced in his tone.

I shrugged once and stood up. "Let's just go."

Peter scoffed. "Do you even know where we're going?" he asked.

I shook my head. "I assume you do and even if you don't there's this thing called maps. I'm sure you're familiar with it."

Peter rolled his eyes and took his strap bag from the dining table. He smiled to himself and walked towards the door.

I picked up my journal that was in the mail and noticed that a certain someone had written the words on an open page: 'TEKUNI'S GREAT DEFENDERS! MAKING NATHAN PROUD.'

So childish.
