"You can go first, Claire." Casper smirked as I grabbed the empty bottle. I held my breath as it started to spin fast getting slower and slower each round. My heart started beating faster as it slowed down. It landed right in front of Finn. I gulped and looked at Jack nervously. I felt bad that I was gonna be kissing someone else other than Jack. He looked back and nodded slightly as if approving just this once. My stomach was in knots and I felt like I might faint. I looked at Finn. He smiled a little and leaned in. I leaned in as well and our lips touched. I didn't pulled back. I felt sparks realized he wasn't Jack. I pulled back immediately and looked at Jack. His eyes were bloodshot and glossy. His mouth was open but nothing came out. My eyes started to get watery the more I stared at him. I couldn't take it anymore and bolted towards my bedroom, locking it.
I heard footsteps behind me and someone calling my name. They started to bang on the door. I didn't care anymore. I leaned up against the door with my back and slid to the ground. I started to bawl my eyes out until there was nothing left to bawl out.
"Hey it's me, Zoe." I heard in a soothing whisper. I stood up slowly and unlocked the door. She came in and closed the door behind her. I started to cry softly and shake a bit as I walked towards my bed fell onto it. Zoe walked towards me and hugged me, gently stroking my back. "It's alright. Jack isn't mad." She whispered into my ear. I pulled my legs to my chest and put my forehead on my knees. I was sobbing less now. "Can you go get Jack." I ask, my voice was shaky and Zoe nodded, a concerned look on her face.
I waited a few minutes hoping I could see Jack and apologize for what I now called the 'kissing incident'. I hated myself for it. I have stopped crying and now I'm sniffling into my pillow waiting for this to all end.
Jack walked in and shut the door with a light 'click'. I sat up, looking up a little. He had red puffy eyes and his cheeks were stained with wet tears. I patted the spot beside me, gesturing for him to sit down. He walks over and sits on the spot I have patted. I couldn't help but side hug him and cry into his shoulder. He tensed up and loosened a bit after. "I'm sorry." I mumbled into his shoulder. "Why are you sorry? I'm the one that should be saying sorry." He said in a light whisper.
"And it was a game anyway." He said, after I didn't answer him. I let out a huge sigh to get myself to calm down. "I guess it's both of our faults," I say, my head on his shoulder and he's rubbing my back slowly. "Why are we fighting over this anyway? It's not that important right? We trust each other enough to know that we didn't mean it." I looked up into his brown orbs. He stared back down at me and started to lean in. We got really close. It's almost as if our lips touched.
"Oh my god!" I heard Zoe yell as she tumbled through the door with everyone else falling on top of her. "You're eavesdropping on us?" I asked giving them all a weird look. "Maybe." Zoe smirked. "So are you back together or what?" "We were never broken up." I reply and saw Jack with a huge grin. Same with everybody else. I smiled back and walked out the door to the washroom to clean off the smudged makeup.
