Harries Trouble

Chapter 6

Last night was amazing. Jack was too kind. We've got to learn about each other a lot too. I've learned he had a twin brother so there were 2 of him. 'I wonder if I'll ever meet him' I thought as I picked out some clothes to wear since I was going shopping with Jack today. It's Saturday and I was feeling calm and laid back. I decided on an oversized grey knitted sweater, a pair of jeans, and my floral Toms.

Jack came strolling through the front door nonchalantly, since I gave him my spare apartment key. He walked over to me and pecked my lips. "You ready?" He asked. "Ready as I'll ever be." I reply, smiling up at him.

We were at a huge mall crowded with people and some of my favorite stores were just around the corner. We walked to the store on the left since it was just by the entrance. "Oh my gosh! Are you Jack Harries by chance?" Someone squealed from behind us. From the sounds of it, it seemed to be a little girl. We turned around to see a young 13 year old girl holding her iPhone in her hands. "Haha yes I am," Jack said. "Is she your girlfriend?" She asked, gesturing to me. I let out a small giggle at Jack's facial expression. It was priceless.

He was smiling wide at me. "Well actually, yes."

"Can I have a picture with both of you?" she asked in a sweet tone. "Yeah, of course." Jack replied putting his arm around her shoulder. I went to stand on the other side of her, bending my knees a little while resting my hand on each knee. I smiled and heard a click. Jack stood up with his wide smile plastered across his face.

The little girl thanked him and walked away happily. I let out a laugh. Jack nudged me lightly with his elbow. I let out a fake moan of pain and he started laughing. I slapped his chest lightly with the back of my hand. "Ow." he mimicked me, putting a hand on his chest. I smiled a victory smile and we started to walk towards a dress store.

I started to pile up a bunch of cute dresses on one arm and ran into the dressing room. I walked out with a dress on and saw Jack stare at his phone. "What do you think?" I ask, making Jack jump in his seat. He stared at me. I twirled around. "You look beautiful." He said, smiling.

After trying on different types of dresses I decided on a white dress, ombré'd to light blue and went up to mid thigh. And a little black dress which is the same length as the ombré one but makes my body look like I have curves.

We went home and I immediately put the newly chosen dresses into my closet. "What do you want to eat for dinner?" I ask him, walking towards the kitchen. "Just get some popcorn and we can watch a movie." He replied and I got to work making some microwaved popcorn. I dumped the contents into a bowl after it was finished and carried it towards Jack. We've decided on watching The Notebook since we both loved it so much. I've packed all my favorite movies just in case I ever feel like watching them.

In the middle of the movie Jack yawned and put his arm around my shoulder. "That's the oldest trick in the book." I laughed and leaned forward to kiss his cheek. He turned his head around at the last second and our lips touched. His lips were salty from the popcorn. I pulled back. "Cheeky." I said and he started to laugh. I joined in after him and it became an amusing game of who can laugh the loudest.
