"Hey babe!" Luke says while swinging an arm over my shoulder. His presence seems to make me slightly grin on this horrid Monday.
The school speakers turn on signaling everyone to "pay attention" aka shut up and listen.
"All grade 10 students meet in the auditorium, your first period teachers have already been notified. Also your not in trouble so don't ditch! Unless you want to miss the surprise! Have a great day." She ends, turning off the speakers.
"Oooooo a surprise!" I say excitedly.
"What do you think it's for? It can't possible be for grades considering the morons that are in our grade. Like that Dylan guy." He says shaking his lead in laughter.
I frown and begin to defend Dylan. Wait why would I defend him? My thoughts are cut off when none other than Dylan himself stands right in front of Luke.
"What was that you were saying?" He says evilly smirking at Luke while a look of regret flashes across his face.
Dylan can take Luke any day. Don't get me wrong they are both handsome on a godly level, yet Dylan is way stronger. Apparently he used to do hockey or something, I don't know.
"Did I stutter?" Oh boy here we go.
"Hey princess, walk to the auditorium with me, I want to talk to you." Dylan says too me not removing his glare from Lucas.
"She's my girlfriend, go get yourself some other slut to bang." Did Luke just call me a slut?
I remove Luke's arm from my shoulder glaring at him due to his comment.
"I would love to walk with you, Dylan." I say through gritted teeth.
"Great babe, and hey bro be carful with your words because this girl is anything but a slut." He says with an angry smirk.
I can't help but blush at Dylan defending me from my own freaking boyfriend. Isn't that what Luke is supposed to be doing for me?
"Thanks Dyl."
"Anytime Violet." He replies.
"Now what did you want to talk about?"
"Oh nothing, I just wanted to get you away from that douche." He says with a smirk.
"That douche is my boyfriend." I say rolling my eyes.
"Actually, I want to talk to you about him. Be out on your patio tonight, I don't want to tell you here." He says glancing at all the people in the hallway crowding around the door to get into the auditorium.
"Uh okay I guess." Looking at him slightly confused.
I take a seat next to Dylan as Mrs. High; our principal, begins to speak. What an ironic name.
"GOOD MORNING STUDENTS!" She says beaming. She tends to be a bit on the over enthusiastic side in the morning to try and pump up the sleepy student body.
"I'm here to tell all of you that only you; grade ten, will be going to Six Flags this Friday due to your overwhelmingly good scores on the recent geometry and chemistry tests!"
The student body lets out a few whoops and yelps of celebration as I look at Dylan excitedly.
------------
We later got all the paperwork we need handed in by Thursday during period two considering the surprise announcement took up all of period one.
This is going to be so much! I can sit with Dylan on the bus and-
Did I just say Dylan?
I meant Luke. Simple mistake. Right? Whatever. Speaking of Luke I'm still currently pissed at him, and I have no idea what Dylan possibly wants to tell me about him.
Let's just hope it's nothing bad.Sorry for this short chapter! I promise tomorrow's will be longer and from Dylan's POV. Please comment and vote if you enjoyed(:
