Prologue

   "MY VIDEO HAS 439 LIKES!" She squealed and I could tell she was jumping. I gasped and smiled. They like us! They think we're funny!

"Maddie, we should do that Minecraft video. I think it would be popular." I told her. I was doing it for the fans. They would like it.

"No! We don't want to appear-" Maddie clicked away at something before finishing. "Appear as tomboys! We could lose fans!" Maddie squealed. I sighed.

"YOUR PLAYNG WITH SOME ONE ELSE! LIZZIE HOW COULD YOU!" Maddie yelled crying and ran upstairs. I don't know what upset her. She didn't want to play!

"I like you Oli." I said quickly.

"Lizzie?"

"Yeah?"

"I have a girlfriend."

"Are you Lizzie?" He asked, stretching out his hand to help me up. I looked up at him, trying to make my eyes big and puppy-like. He smiled.

Oli smiled at me and the boy. "I'll leave you two..."

"I just realized I didn't get your name!" I laughed.

"Oh!" He chuckled. "My name is Joel."

"LIZZIE-BETH!"

I stopped.

Who had called me?

Deep down I knew who it was.

I think I was just too afraid to admit who the person was.

And that person was Maddie.

"Wait Joel?"

"Hey Joel?"

Me and Maddie said at the same time. I looked over at her, and she did the same. I opened my mouth. We both looked at Joel.

"Yeah, Maddie?" He replied. I felt a tear form in my eye. He liked her. I was just a tool to meet her. Maddie blinked quickly.

"Joel...he broke my heart. I met him in-in-in America! And-and-nd we fell in love! We've been-been-been dating for 2 months! He told me I was s-s-selfish and mean! I found out he played Minecraft like you! I'm s-s-sorry Lizzie! America did t-things to me!" Maddie rest her head in my lap. I kissed the top of her head.

I was in the middle of staying up late on YouTube when Maddie knocked on the door.

"Lizzie?" Maddie whispered.

There was no point of hiding my laptop. I was covered in blankets.

"Yeah?" I whispered back, taking my blankets off.

"Sorry to wake you, or, disturb you." She said rubbing her eye. "But there's something I want you to see." She said hopping on my bed and moving my laptop towards her.

"Yeah?" I said watching her click away.

She pulled up Joel's channel, InTheBeanTime, and clicked on his latest video, the one with me.

"Watch it." Maddie said and stared at me. I nodded. She rested her head on my shoulder. I kissed the top of her head. I watched the video. Joel was an amazing editor, I could crisply hear both of our voices and the transitions were amazing!

"Listen." Maddie said and turned my volume up louder.

It was the end of the video, and I was watching our goodbye. Then afterwards was a picture of us playing the game. My character was jumping in mid air and looking at him and he was looking at me.

"LDshadowlady, if you watch this video, I have something important to say." Joel's voice said through my computer. I blushed. Was he...?

"I think your funny, cute, and pretty. I know you might be kind of mad at me but I wanted to tell you something." Maddie turned and looked at me and smiled.

"Lizzie, will you be my girlfriend?"
