There are demons in everyone. But some have the power to bring evil thoughts to the conscience of their victim. But when that happens, a guardian awakens to defend them. But only from The Demons of Thought, the source being the brain.
Normally, the demons are destroyed with a nights rest. They never return. Sometimes, it takes a few fights between the guardian and the demons. But there was one instance... Where the guardian was already weak and vulnerable. Always lingering at a deathly low amount of health, the poor guardian has to fight even harder.
But it's not enough... The demons are swarming the victims thoughts. But wait! Another guardian appears!
Before we go along to this journey, let me explain what these guardians are. They are little lights, little fireflies if you will. They represent hope and willpower. The demons represent any and every bad lie and emotion.
(For me specifically and probably a lot of you dudes out there, is depression and loneliness. The lights are hopes and joys, the green being me and the purple being my boyfriend, the only person I have who was ever able to help me feel a bit better about myself when my demons get a few thoughts to slip by. He also gave me this idea for this vent write btw. Also, The reference of 'my guardian' already being weak is my diabetes giving 'my demons' a head start with the fight. The fight being my battle with depression and diabetes and my bad thoughts at once. So ya....)
On with the story then!
Any who, a bright purple light fills the arena, blending with the dimmed neon green light. The purple glowing guardian flies over to assist the weak, dim green firefly. They speak with inaudible squeaks and chirps, silently communicating as well.
The purple light is giving words of encouragement to the weak green one. The green firefly's beat faster with new hope and determination as her green light speeds towards the dark aura of the demonic, black moth-demons.
The health of that demon drops remarkably, as it finally falls from the sky. The swarm of demon-moths fly angrily towards the small green-glowing firefly. It's health still deathly low, the purple firefly looks at the green with horror.
The black moths engulf the green firefly, it's glow barely visible. The purple firefly was not a fighter unfortunately, for the purple firefly was only able to lend strength to the other guardian when it felt was necessary. The purple firefly glowed exceedingly, it's strength was coming out as a small ball. It was glowing a deep, Royal shade of purple. The firefly teleported it to its partner.
The purple firefly anxiously awaited to see the result. It truly wanted to help more, but didn't know how. The purple firefly glowed brighter in joy! The dark clump of surrounding moths was soon glowing green. Then, they were all blown away, falling out of the sky after being sent into walls from the blast of neon green light.
The green firefly triumphantly flies over to the purple one, taking a rest. For it exhausted the poor guardian, but before any amount of rest could be taken... Calvary arrives, and from the enemy team!
The green firefly's light was dimmed by the dread from the number of demons. The green light looked to the purple, they shared silent conversation of encouragements and reassurances.
Soon the already weak, vulnerable, and now exhausted guardian was front and center in fighting this war and battle with the evil moth-demons. A demon soon saw the infighting purple glow of the firefly and saw an opportunity to attack.
The moth-demon cornered the defenseless firefly, but soon the green firefly came to its rescue. The neon green firefly took the critical hit, the purple light looking at what had just happened.
The purple firefly shook the shock away, fluttering over sadly to the green light, basically already out. The moth-demons left, turning their aggressive tensions to their target victim.
The green firefly looked as though it would not make it through. The purple spoke to the green one respectively. Here's what they said in the green firefly's last moments.
Purple: d-don't give up yet! W-we were so close! W-we can d-do it! Just g-get up!
Green: I'm not gonna win this fight... But I know you're safe, that's all that matters.
Purple: b-but we will b-both be safe! We will both w-win the fight! P-please don't go...
Green: just don't give up because I failed... You need to win... For me... I love you, I was always fighting for you... I just didn't fight for myself... I'm sorry--
Purple: No! Don't be s-sorry... But I won't fail you, I love you too and I'll fight for you. *hugs green firefly using wings* but who will fight for me now? I need you... Here- this is for you.
Green: *takes 'gift', hugging back. Suddenly is brought to the air, a burst of light comes from green firefly. The enemies die from the extreme light* what- happened?
Purple: my last revive. I wanted you to have it...
And so the pair were together again, both giving each others strength and sometimes life sources in real emergencies. They may have to be eternally in this fight with the demons, but because they're fighting them off together, nothing will separate them.
_____________________Hey guys! I hope you liked my first vent, I thought I'd bring you all a nice ending since the rest probably won't be as booper-dooper and nice. But since this is also a good representation of the fight going on inside me right now. If your comfortable, let me know if this also sounds a lot like what's happening inside your head.
I'm hoping to be on Wattpad a bit more often, but idk... Let me know what you dudes think.
-WolfFact, have a howling good day. Love ya dudes!
