Episode [1] | Chosen Kanto Trainers

"Attention all passengers. We are now docking on the Sabukon Port. Thank you for choosing S.S Anne. Please have a great day." The ship speakers repeated this announcement and it echoed around the whole ship.

I lean closer to the ship railing and took a deep breath, taking in the salty sea water smell. While standing on the ship deck, I admired the glorious island before me.
"So this is The Sabukon Region." I murmured to myself as I stared at the lively city harbor. I delved my hand in my pocket and pulled out a piece of paper what seem to be a letter. I slowly unfolded it and reread the message.

Congratulations!
As of now, you shall be attending
Golden Arceus Academy.

As one of the chosen trainers in the Kanto Region, I shall be the one to welcome you to the academy. Please proceed to my laboratory once you arrived. I'll have one of the student council escort you there.

I'm really excited to see you what you're capable of in the academy.

"Kanto's Chosen Trainers... He should be here..." I looked around, saw a lot of tourists around, but no sign of him anywhere.
"I guess not---" My sentence was cut off when my eyes met a girl with light brown hair. She turned her head and her ocean blue eyes immediately made it's way to my crimson red ones.

"Hey!!!" The brown-haired girl shouted as she made her way to where I was standing.

"Oh hey, Leaf." I greeted as well.
"Leaf Green, my childhood friend..." I thought to myself as I stared at her as she ran closer to me when...she suddenly bumped into someone. A little laugh came out of my mouth as I watched her apologize to the girl she just bumped into.
"As careless as she may be, she was also lucky enough to be one of the chosen trainers of Kanto." I continued my train of thought.

Once she got close enough, she crossed her arm on her chest.
"You know I think I explored the whole ship now, looking for you." The girl introduced as Leaf Green said in a complaining manner.

"Oh sorry, I just wanted to get some fresh air." I scratched the back of my head as I apologized.

Leaf walked closer and stood by the railing beside me.
"Come on quite lying Mr. Satoshi, you're looking for him, aren't you?"

I chuckled
"You're one to talk Ms. Green..." I tilted my head towards her and continued in a teasing tone in my voice.
"I saw you running around the ship all day, looking for him perhaps?"

Leaf looked away to hid her face from me...blushing maybe?
"Shut up!" She saw the passengers heading out of the ship and turned back to me.
"I think we should go now."

I glanced at the passengers as well, before nodding.
"Yeah I think we should, Leaf."

"Okay, let's go!" She moved away from the railing and headed to the exited. After taking a few steps forward, She stopped on her place and glanced back at me.
"Hey, Red..."

After hearing my name, I smiled and looked at her.
"Red... Red Satoshi, my name. I'm also one of the Chosen Kanto Trainers." I thought to myself as I waited for what she was about to say.
