Author's Note

So I've had some time to think and talk this story over with some people and this is what I've concluded:

This story is so raw and so real. The recent chapter left me very vulnerable as a person. Not even as a writer, but as a person.

And in a conversation with someone, I realized that I was writing this story in search of my own catharsis. The same way that Nadine is about to go soul searching. With life being so unpredictable and people growing, I decided that anything past chapter 7 will be me continuing to find some type of closure for the characters in their search for a happy ending.

So practically the chapters to come will comprise a type of alternate ending in the sense that I had thoughts of just ending the story here. That Nadine would leave and everyone would find themselves, their happiness, and go on with their lives without seeing each other anymore (or at least assume that much). That they grow and find their happy ending without one another, since friends drift and break apart in real life.

I don't know if this makes sense, I just needed to let this out.

Lemme know your thoughts about continuing and just the whole thing, if you want.
