"Mami! Papi!" Little Camila's voice was heard faintly, hid by panic screams of hundreds people around her who were running scattered on the street.

Scared Camila stood in the middle of the chaos, her eyes moving wild searching for something or rather someone amongst the crowd. But she couldn't find their figures anywhere. Tears that filled her eyes then streaming down her face, and smoke in the air didn't help her at all.

"Karla!"

In the middle of the chaos and blaring sirens, she tried to guess and started to move towards the vague voice source. She kept moving, running with her feet desperately to find it. She didn't know why but she kept moving, she felt gravitated to the name and suddenly she collided hard with running bodies then she fell to the ground and hit her head hard on something solid.

The voice that was calling the name was now gone. Only the sound of her beating heart and a squeak sound echoed in her head. She felt it pounding then everything around her started to darken until finally she saw nothing at all.

Camila jolted awake from her slumber, panting. Her brown eyes wide opened staring, adjusting to the darkness of her room. Her lungs struggled in getting oxygen as if her chests were full with water. Her chest felt heavy, her head hurt. She massaged her temples trying to soothe the pain.

Just a dream... she thought.

She took a deep breath, trying to get it back to normal and calming herself. She rose her hand wiping the cold sweat that was visible on her forehead, soaking her white tank top.

It has been a long time since the last time Camila dreamed about that. Not since she was still in college almost two years ago. And now, she'd moved to Miami, she didn't know why that dream suddenly reappeared.

She looked at the clock on the nightstand. 5:20 a.m.

"I guess there's no use in going back to sleep now." Camila released a slow sigh, putting her feet down to the edge of her bed and remained sitting as she looked at the window, trying to dismiss the feelings... the dream.

Camila then walked out of bed to the bathroom outside her room to do her morning routines. She stood under the shower, letting cold water pour down her head and her whole body. She needed that.

After took a shower and brushed her teeth, she stepped out of bathroom, freshly brewed coffee scent reached her nose, tugging her lips enough showing her white pearl teeth and she continued walking back to her room.

It was her first day teaching at Miami high school. She was excited. Scared but excited. She knew teaching for teenagers would not be an easy task, and definitely challenging. Although she's been in this position before when she took her teaching license but still she was nerve-wrecking. But she was already on action-mode, nothing could stop her from enjoying this feeling.

Looking at her reflection in the mirror, Camila inspected her outfit once again as she stood there in her cream-colored long-sleeved shirt with a black and white patterned knee-length skirt, pink high heels. Everything looked harmonious with the hairdo formed somewhat messy bun and her light make-up; simply applying neutral lipstick and eye shadow to emphasize brown eyes. A smile presented on her beautiful face; satisfied of her work. Yup, I'm ready.

Her smile that stayed on her face grew bigger when she stepped out of her room and seeing her best friend stood by the stove, humming a song and flipping on pancake on the pan. "Good morning, mom." Camila smirked as her friend, Ally turned around.

"Morning." Replied a smiling Ally, shaking her head at her friend's playful remark. "So, how is my daughter handling herself this morning?"

"To be honest, I'm excited but also a little scared at the same time. I'm just all over the place, I guess." Camila confessed as she stared pass at Ally's shoulder.
