It was middle of winter. Hogwarts's roofs all covered with white fluff, it looked like a shining white castle. I was just going back from McGonagall's dance lessons, as the yule ball is next week. Thinking that the whole school is going to meet in one place and considering it a good moment for me and Barty to meet that night, I bumped right into him. Well, in Mad-eye Moody him. The hall was full of people 'Sorry, proffesor' I said inncently and wanted to move forward but he stopped me 'Expect an owl, miss y/n' he said with grumpy voice and I noded confused.

To be honest I forgot about this incident as soon as I turned to the classroom and stayed focused on subjects for the rest of the day. In the late afternoon I was going down the stairs from one of the towers when I heard frustrated knocking to the window next to me. The snow was falling heavy and wind was blowing so it took me a while to see in the dark the smallest black owl I've ever seen, desperately calling to open the window. I pulled the knob and she fell inside, all wet, shaking. I picked her up with a smile 'Cute little thing you are, c'man, lets take you somewhere warm' I untied the message she had on her leg and placed her on my shoulder, motioning to the tower for owls. In the middletime I opened the piece of paper 'I'm sure you got plenty offers for the ball but I dare to ask - will you be my date? We... well I can't appear on the official ball and I have something special in my mind, just for two of us. I understand if you already got plans for that day though. Yours B' my heart fluttered and I grined. I wanted to send a respond immidately but I remembered this poor little bird is exhousted. I started to walk faster all over the moon and took the first owl I catched, writing respond on my knee 'I'll be more than happy to be your date! Where do we meet?' I tied the piece of paper to leg of a big light brown owl 'To Alastor Moody, please' I whispered and she looked at me with her big understanding eyes and flew away. I sighed with joy and went common room.

Everybody left already the rooms and gathered in the great hall, while I was still doing my hair. We decided to meet after the ball officialy begins, on the 7th floor in Come and go room. I pinned and curled my hair, put on red lipstick matching my long red dress and managed to climb the stairs in comfortable shoes on low heels, folding the dress so I wouldn't fall. The gate was already formed in the wall and when I approached to it, it opened wide itself, showing me a beautiful ball hall, even larger and prettier than the one in the great hall. A delicate classic music was playing in the background, warm light snow was falling from the ceiling covered with candles and astonishing paintings. Everything was light and shining. There was a table which almost bended under the count of food and fancy drinks. It took my breath away. 'Good evening, darling' I heard kind Barty's voice and turned around. He went in and the gate disappeared beside him, as he walked up to me. 'You look... absolutely beautiful, y/n' his sight was so intense I blushed slightly. He looked so amazing. His hair were neatly brushed to the side, his brown eyes seemed lighter than usually. He finnaly shaved, I noticed smiling to myself. And he was wearing smart deep black robes and a bowtie. 'My handsome man' I looked enchanted into his eyes, as I felt he's taking my hand and kissing back of it with a smile. He didn't look tired for the first time, his face seemed younger and fresh. 'May I have this dance, my lady?' he asked taking a step closer to me 'Of course' I said simply and felt dizzy when his warm hand held my waist. I put one of my hands on his arm and the other on his hand. His hold was confident and gentle at the same time. The music got louder and we moved in waltz metrum. I couldn't take my eyes of him as we danced and his sight was focused on me as well. 'I missed you, y/n' he said tightening the hold 'We have lessons almost every day' I smiled warmly 'Nah, I wish you could see me more often like that you know. Not this ugly old man's flesh. Being able to talk to you naturally once a week is a torture, my love. Especially seeing you so beautiful so close yet so far to me everyday' I gasp with a slight sadness at his words. 'I know, Barty. But at least I have no reasons to jealous. My inner death eater wakes inside me when I think about all these girls flirting with you if you were the teacher with your real face' this cheers him up as he laughs at that and with final sound of the music he holds my waist and lifts me up gracefully. We bow to each other and walk up to the table. He pours us some wine. 'I bet they don't have it downstairs' I laugh, sipping sweet alcohol. He smirks 'shall we take a sit?' he asks and right next to us appears a... bed. I rise my eyebrows and look at Crouch with my eyes wide. 'What's that suppossed to mean?' I put down the glass and fold my arms. He bites his lower lip 'Sorry, I can't focus beacuse of that dress you're wearing' he mumbles and grins devilishly, walking up to me. He grabs my wrist and pulls me close to his chest, closing his lips on mine. He nibbles my lower lip earning a quite sound of pleasure from me. 'I actually wanted to have this dress on me for a little longer' I say shyly and at that he grabs me and lyes gently on the bed. Then places himself half next to me, helf on top of me and strokes my hair, looking deeply into my eyes. 'I love you so much, y/n' he whispers, kissing my lips once again, lovingly and softly this time. 'I love you too, Barty' I cuddle to him, wraping my arms around his neck...
