I was working in the local bar in Broadchurch. We had a very few customers since the poor boy's death and I was just standing by the counter, cleaning invisible dust of boredom. Emptiness was just overhelming even though I turned on the radio. Silent music buzzing the empty walls was even more overhelming. Then all of a sudden I heard the entrance door slam and two people came in. I put on my smile, even bigger because of loneliness and straightened my poisture. 'Hello Ellie!' I said happy to see her. She was honestly the kindest woman I know. She smiled back and noded and then I noticed the man walking beside her. 'This is DI Hardy, he's my boss in the Latimer's case. We came to ask you a few questions if you don't mind, y/n' Ellie said with ever so charming tone like she always does but with a slight nerve in it. She seemed tense in his presence, I bet they argued before coming here. I take a closer look on the tall man. His eyes looked exhousted but they were incredibly large and deep brown, like warm chocolate. Hair were falling on his forhead, god they looked to thick and ahh... Making me want to touch them. He had about 3-days old beard and his facial expression suggesten that being here and talking to me was the last thing he wanted to do at the moment. His poisture was showing domination and confidence though, like he was saying 'Lie to me and you're dead'. 'We'll ask the questions anyway' he stated firmly with amazing scottish accent. 'I'm all ears' I leaned on the counter sending them both a smile.
They asked me a few questions, wrote down my alibi and people who can confirm it, my phone number and some other rutine questions, I suppose. 'Thank you, y/n' Ellie turned to the door and Hardy as well but I stopped him 'Hey DI Hardy, may I have a word? Alone?' I asked more Ellie than him but they both nodded with confusion in their eyes. I considered him too handsome to let such an opportunity. He rised his eyebrow 'Yes?' I walked out from behind the bar and approached to him, stopping only a few inches away. 'You look like someone in need of relax' I smiled suggestively and watched his gaze finnaly focus on me 'Yeah, I was aware of stress taking this job' he replied like a lawyer with barely noticible shake in his voice 'So I was thinking... I could help. If you know what I mean' I grined and corners of his lips went up a little, that I considered as a small succes. 'Well... I er...' seeing him not knowing how to respond was priceless but I felt a little bit sorry so I grabbed his tie and pulled him confidently down to me, crashing his lips on mine. I felt him gasp under the kiss, I was afraid for a moment he would push me away and look at me with contempt. And when he kissed back a sigh of relief shook my body as I kissed deeper. I wished the moment to never end but I remembered of Ellie probably waiting for him in the car and I didn't want her to come and check what were we doing for so long. So I gently let him go and push back a little, placing my hand on his chest. 'Does DI Hardy have a name?' I ask smiling up at him. He gave me a smile this time but as soon as I asked about his name he looked away 'Nah I don't like it' I held his arm couragely 'Camon' he rolled his eyes and looked down at me with a small pout 'Alec' I heard footsteps, must be Ellie to check out what's going on just as I predicted. 'Well I like it' he smiled a little and walked up to the door 'I'll call you, y/n' he assured with warmth in his voice and I stared at the door with a smile when they were gone already.
