Prologue

Why is there a prologue to a story that already had it's epilogue?

"Okay lang, Yoongi. Gets ko ng kulang ang crush para i-describe ang paghanga mo sa'kin. Alam ko na ngayon na lab na lab mo ang kadyosahan ko. Dont worry--"

"Asa ka, Cherry! Asa ka!"

Is it because of a new beginning?

"So, as I was saying a while ago, sasagutin mo ako."

"Ahehe... W-wala ka namang tanong eh."

"Wala ngang tanong. Wala ngang tanong pero liligawan pa rin kita.

A start of yet another journey?

"Dalawang linggo mo na akong iniiwasan."

"F*ck, Cherry. Why are you doing this?"

"Why are you doing this to me when I just got the balls to confess my f*cking stupid feelings?!"

Or could it be a sequel to a book that has been closed a long time ago?

"As long as I love you, it's fine. You do the hating, I do the loving. Fair enough."

But you see, sequels could be scary sometimes.

"Stop acting as if you're clueless. That won't work on me, anymore."

"Then that just made you a clueless bitch. By the way, congrats! You deserved the title."

It's like starting all over again.

"That b*tch doesn't need me. She just need a man beside her. Kahit sino, pwede na."

With a new plot.

"Love songs are meant for us. Not for you with some other guys."

With another conflict. And another twist.

"Sorry, Cherry. Sorry for everything. Please forgive me. I didn't mean the words that left my f*cking mouth that time. I was just consumed by jealousy, I swear. I shouldn't have called you names. F*ck! God knows how much I regretted saying those things when I saw you're hurt expression. And God knows how much I hated myself for causing you pain."

Introduction of new characters.

"Cherry, can I ask for your forgiveness?"

"Panaginip ko naman 'to eh. Pwedeng kahit ngayon lang, kahit sa panaginip ko lang, pwede bang patawarin mo na ko?"

Or maybe, a lost of one.

"Kahit hindi mo sabihin, papatawarin kita. Kahit para sakin, wala ka namang ginawang masama, papatawarin pa rin kita. Kasi mahal kita, Yoongi."

No one knows, really. Sequels can make the story better. It can make the story worse. It is something unpredictable. Something no one could ever foretell.

One thing I'm sure of...

Sequel? It is the answer to the question,
