When they got back, it was almost midnight. It was completely dark outside. Everything was quiet, except for the chirping of the crickets. Michael led the younger boy to his cabin, and then stopped. "I had fun tonight, we should do that more often." He whispered, and his lips curled into a big honest smile that immediately made the younger boy smile back. "Yeah, I had fun too." He mumbled quietly, looking straight into Michael's eyes. "Well, it's kinda late and I'm ready to fall asleep right now, so see you tomorrow, I guess." The older boy grinned and took a step back, suddenly seeming nervous. "Goodnight." Tyler just whispered and waved, turning around and taking the last few steps towards the cabin. Before he opened the door, he looked back once again, but the older boy was already gone.

The first thing Tyler saw when he opened his eyes the next morning was the wooden ceiling covered in sunshine. He was confused for a second, but he soon realized what was happening.
He slowly sat up and stretched, yawning loudly. Then he rubbed his eyes and sighed, pulling his blanket off. Suddenly, he heard laughing coming from downstairs, so he decided to go and check it out.
He trailed down the stairs in his grey batman pajamas, with messy hair and slight stubble on his chin, yawning again. When he got to the small kitchen downstairs, he found out that everyone was there for some reason. "Hello, sleepyhead." AJ and Josh greeted him, chuckling when they saw his outfit. He just flipped them off and sat down on the couch next to them. Ty and Sky were busy with cooking, at least it looked like they were trying to cook. Nick was on his phone, probably playing games, and Michael was leaning against the kitchen counter, talking to Sky. When he noticed Tyler, he smirked and nodded his way. "Nice pajamas, baby boy." He chuckled, making the younger boy blush.

Baby boy? Okay, Michael.

"It's cute, tho." Nick chimed in with a sweet smile that made Tyler's cheeks even redder. Michael just rolled his eyes and looked away, frowning and ignoring Tyler's raised eyebrow.
Their short conversation caught Sky's attention. The tall boy turned around and his face lit up when he noticed Tyler. "Thank god, mama Carter is here! We just realized that none of us can actually cook, so I guess it's on you." He explained with a sheepish smile. The younger boy just sighed and got up, walking over to the counter. "What were you trying to do?" he asked, when he saw the mess. "We wanted to do some eggs, but I guess it didn't work out." Ty mumbled with puzzled expression. "Oh. I see. Eh, I could make pancakes, maybe?" the blonde boy suggested. AJ's face lit up immediately. "Yes! I love pancakes!" he said in excitement, and the others just shrugged. "Okay. But, did you buy all of the ingredients and stuff?" the blonde boy asked. Sky nodded and pointed towards the fridge. "Almost everything is there. The rest is in our cabin, so if you need something, you can find it there." He said. "Okay then, it's gonna take a while, so you can go and do...whatever you normally do." Tyler chuckled and turned around, opening the cupboards and looking for the stuff he needed. Meanwhile, the others decided to go out and play football. Nick stayed inside with Tyler. "Do you need some help?" he asked and got up from his spot in the armchair, putting his phone into his pocket. "Actually yeah, I think we don't have flour in here. Could you please go and take it from Sky and Ty's cabin? Oh, and I need sugar, too." Tyler answered, pouring some milk into a bowl. Nick just nodded and went to get the ingredients.
He came back in a minute, holding two big packages of flour and sugar. His muscles were clearly visible, making Tyler blush a little. "I brought it all at once. You are the only one that's gonna use it anyways." The brunet said and put the packages on the floor. "Do you need anything else?" he asked and smiled. Tyler just smiled back and shook his head. "No, thank you. You can go and play with the others or something." He said and grabbed the flour, adding it to the bowl. "Okay, I'm going for a walk. If you need help with anything in the future, I'm always here." The older boy winked and turned around, walking out of the cabin with a confident smirk, leaving the blushing boy alone.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Tyler was almost done with the cooking, when suddenly he felt a tap on his shoulder. He squealed and jumped, turning around to see Michael. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." The tall boy apologized sheepishly, rubbing his neck. "It's okay, I get scared easily, but what are you doing here?" the blonde boy asked with a raised eyebrow. "The guys sent me to ask you about the pancakes. Apparently they are really hungry." The older boy chuckled. His deep brown eyes sparkled, making Tyler smile. "Yeah, you can tell them to come, it's almost done." Tyler said and turned around, flipping the pancake. "Okay." The tall boy said and was about to go out, but Tyler stopped him. "Hey, um, is Nick with you, or is he still on a walk?" he asked. "Thank god, he's still somewhere in the woods." Michael rolled his eyes and frowned. The younger boy was confused.

What's up with him and Nick? Why does Michael hate him so much?

"What do you mean, thank god?" he asked with a frown. "I don't know man. According to Josh, he's just a bad person. He's done some fucked up shit in the past, and I just don't like him, I guess. He wasn't even supposed to be here, he just came along without an invitation." The brunet explained, shrugging. "I think you're just judging him without knowing him." Tyler mumbled, frown still visible on his face. "Whatever. Just stay safe." Michael said and then quickly exited the cabin.

Why is Michael so mean? Nick is not that bad in my opinion. But what if he really is a bad person?
