When Michael woke up the next morning, the first thing he noticed was a faint strawberry smell. Right after that he heard someone's quiet snores. He quickly opened his eyes in confusion. The first thing he saw was Tyler's messy brownish-blonde hair, and right in that moment, he remembered everything, warmth spreading through his whole body. His lips curled into a wide smile. He carefully pulled the boy closer, burying his head into his strawberry scented hair and sighing happily.
I wish that I could wake up like this every single day.
He was enjoying the silence and the presence of Tyler for about five minutes, when the younger boy stirred and slowly opened his eyes, blinking in confusion. He didn't notice that Michael was awake. After a few seconds he smiled, pressing his head against Michael's chest, closing his eyes and just listening to his heartbeat. "Good morning to you too, Ty." Michael said huskily, causing the blonde boy to gasp and jump up in shock. "Michael! I thought you w-were asleep!" he mumbled and looked up, blush visible on his cheeks, his eyes still a little puffy from all the crying. The taller boy just shrugged and chuckled. The younger boy just bit his lip and looked away.
I should probably go back to my cabin... I don't want to annoy him any longer.
He sighed and sat up, slowly shrugging off Michael's arms. "I-I should go. I don't wanna bother you." He whispered, blushing and trying to get up. But the older boy just smiled and carefully pulled the boy back down, right next to him. "Let's just cuddle for a few more minutes, please." He pouted, making Tyler's cheeks even redder. "O-Okay." The younger boy agreed. Michael moved closed and wrapped his arms around Tyler's waist, running his hand up and down his back, smiling into his hair.
This is exactly what I need right now. If only moments like these could last longer...
Tyler nuzzled into his chest just like before and sighed, relaxing under his touch. They stayed like that for another half an hour.
But then the comfortable silence ended because of the loud knocking on the door. "Ugh." Michael groaned. He hesitantly let go of the blonde boy and sat up, stretching. Tyler sat up, too, raising an eyebrow. "It's probably just AJ. Stay here, I'll check it out." The older boy said and climbed out of the bed. Tyler just nodded and smiled, burying his head into the pillows, inhaling the scent.
When Michael opened the front door, he chuckled.
Of course it's AJ.
"Hey-" "Have you seen Tyler?!" the tall boy was interrupted in the middle of his sentence. "Yeah, he's upstairs, why?" he said, raising an eyebrow. The younger boy sighed in relief. "Holy crap, I was looking for him for like half an hour now!" he mumbled, running a hand through his hair. "I woke up and Josh told me about the storm, and I know that Tyler hates storms. So I called him a thousand times, and he wasn't picking up, and then I went to his cabin and his door was unlocked and he wasn't there, and I almost had a panic attack and-ugh." He explained in stressed tone. "It's okay, he came in the middle of the night, but I took care of him." Michael smirked, and AJ just raised his eyebrows a little, frowning, but nodding in understanding. But then the frown quickly left his face and was replaced with a smile. "We're going to the city in like an hour to get some stuff and to catch up with Shayley, he called me like an hour ago saying that he came back to America for a few days! Do you want to go with us?" he asked, smiling in excitement. Shayley was AJ's, Michael's and Sky's good friend that left to the UK a few months ago, and the boys truly missed him. "Of course I want to go! Gosh, it's been a really long time, right?" Michael shook his head, smiling. "Tyler can come with us, right?" he added, biting his lip. "You can ask him." AJ shrugged. The taller boy just nodded with a grin. "Okay, I will."
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
"Uh, I don't know. I've never met Shayley, you know?" The blonde boy bit his bottom lip, looking away. He didn't want to go at all. "I don't want to ruin the moment. You haven't seen him for like six months, you have to catch up and I don't want to stand in the way..." he added, smiling apologetically. "If you don't want to go, you don't have to I guess. But I'm sure he would love to meet you!" Michael pouted, playfully poking the boy next to him. He looked up to the clock hanging on the wall on the other side of the room and then he rolled his eyes, sighing. "Well, I gotta go now, so I'll see you later, I guess." He groaned, getting up. Tyler got up, too. "Yeah, see you." he mumbled. The older boy just smiled and turned around, walking downstairs. Tyler followed him. They parted ways outside the cabin, exchanging smiles and their goodbyes. Michael walked towards the parked cars, and Tyler went to find Josh.
He knew that the ginger boy was in his cabin, because he and Ty didn't really know Shayley either. When he reached the cabin, he knocked with a smile on his face. He was looking forward to the chat with his friends. After a few seconds, the door opened, revealing the ginger. "Oh, hi! Do you want to join us in our Mario Kart battle?" he blurted out in excitement, his eyes shining bright. Tyler just chuckled and nodded, stepping inside.
Typical Josh.

A few hours later, the boys decided to pause the intense gaming, make some coffee, and just finally catch up.
"So, how have you been, Tyler?" Josh asked, putting his cup of steaming liquid on the small table and sitting down next to the mentioned boy. "Uh, good, I guess. But kind of lonely." Tyler answered his a crooked smile. "So, still no girlfriend of boyfriend?" Ty asked, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively. "Nah." The blonde boy chuckled, shaking his head. "But I noticed Nick has a thing for you. By the way, what happened yesterday? He came back all beaten up, wanting to go home, and he wouldn't tell us what happened. And you and Michael just went straight back to your cabins." Ty said, frowning and rising his eyebrow. "Uh, about that... He-he just came on me and kissed me, and he wanted to-you know, but I didn't want to. And he was forcing me-but-but Michael appeared and stopped him." The youngest of them mumbled shakily, leaving out the part about the argument with Michael, and looking down at his fidgeting hands. "Holy crap. I knew he was gonna do something like that. I knew I shouldn't take him with us!" Josh growled after a few seconds of silence, regret and anger mixing in his voice. "It-It's not your fault, Josh. I should have trusted Michael when he told me to stay away from him." Tyler whispered, finally looking up again. Ty just offered him a small smile, and Josh gently hugged him. "I'm sorry you had to go through that. You of all the people." He said, pulling away with a sad, crooked smile. "It's fine, Josh." The younger boy mumbled, smiling back. "I have to thank Michael later. Thank god he helped you." Ty said, shaking his head with a frown. He was still surprised and angered because of Nick's actions. "Yeah. He even helped me calm down when I was scared because of the storm tonight. And he helped me do the cookies, and we had like a food fight! And he's really funny, too. And did I tell you about the lake we found the other day?" Tyler asked with a huge smile, his bright, ocean blue eyes radiating with happiness once again. Ty and Josh just knowingly smiled at each other, chuckling to themselves. "No, you didn't. But you can show us later!" Ty said with a smile, and the blonde boy just nodded enthusiastically. "By the way, since when is Michael AJ's step brother?" he asked curiously, looking from Ty to Josh with raised eyebrows. "Well, they are not officially step brothers. Not yet. But do you remember the man who was dating AJ's mother? Well, that was Michael's dad. They got engaged a few months ago and they are getting married in November. I'm surprised that AJ didn't invite you already." Josh explained, a huge smile playing on his lips. "Oh, wow! That's amazing! I missed out on a lot of things, didn't I?" the blonde boy shook his head, chuckling lightly. "Yeah, you definitely did." Ty agreed, sipping his coffee.
The boys spent the rest of the day playing more video games, watching movies, talking, and eating sweets. Tyler finally felt fully relaxed and happy after a long time.
I missed this feeling so, so much.
Holy shoot. It's been almost two months since the last update. I'm so, so sorry! I was just so stressed because of the new school and stuff, but everything is fine now. I promise I will try to update more often.By the way, I'm seeing twenty one pilots in exactly 12 days (in Prague), and I'm finally meeting my best internet friend Kristína after almost three years of friendship on the same day, and I'm so so so excited! She means so much to me, you have no idea.
