Chapter 2

Lana's POV
I woke up to the sunlight gleaming through my blinds on my window. I groaned at the thought of what was happening today. School. I roll out of bed and I smell something delicious. I look on my nightstand to find a platter of food. It had eggs, bacon, toast, apple cinnamon oatmeal, my favorite, and orange juice on it with a little note. "I want to make up all the time I haven't been with you. Meet me at the park after you get out of school. Hope you like the breakfast! Love you!❤️-Daddy" I smiled at the note and I ate the breakfast. I got in a quick shower and didn't bother blow drying it so I just put it in a messy bun on the top of my head. I put on a maroon sweater, black leggings, and white converse. I put on light makeup and grabbed my phone and walked downstairs. "Bye sweetheart" the maid, Christi said as I walked out the front door. "Bye Christi! You can have the day off btw!" I yelled before shutting the door. "Thank you!" She yelled through the door. I smiled and walked to my car. I got in and turned the car on. Justin Bieber was on the radio and I started jamming out. It was a pretty old song but it still was my favorite song of all time. Cold Water. I finally made it to the prison. I get out of my car and walk inside. "Hey Lana!" Some girl said. I just smiled and waved. "What's up girl?" Some random guy said coming towards me but I pushed him into a set of lockers. "As if" I whispered to myself so only I could hear. I walk to my locker and get out my books for class. I look to my right to see people making out. PDA!! I repeat PDA!! I look to my left and see a boy. Looking around like he's lost or something. "Hey are you lost?" I asked the shy, but cute boy. "Yeah. I can't find the history class." He said smiling. "Oh. I'm in that class right now. Follow me. Oh and I'm Lana" I said putting my hand out for him to shake and he did. "Nathan. Nathan Triska." He smiled, squeezing my hand just a little. I smiled. We walked into class and I sat in my assigned seat while Nathan sat behind me. Weird Im usually beat up right now. Huh.. "Goodmorning class! I have good news for y'all, especially for Lana." She said and I looked up. "The school bully has been expelled and isn't aloud to come back ever." She said smiling. I felt like a heavy weight has just been lifted off of my shoulders. Thank you Lord Jesus. Everything is just going my way today. "Let's get to history!" She yelled excitedly and everyone groaned. But I smiled. The rest of my life is gonna be great.
NATHAN TRISKA FOLKS! I changed it to him! I like him being in it.
Also about the Cold Water thing. This book is taking place in like 2030 or something like that. So by then Cold Water would be pretty old so that's why I used it. Anyways!
