You never saw it coming no one in the room did.
It started as a normal day until he barged in without knocking and quickly went to work silencing the adult as she rushes to her phone. Screams are heard as an announcement is made as the boy closes the door and locks it.
He walks around making sure that everyone can see the weapon in his hand. To show that he is not playing he goes to you pulling you out of your seat to the front of the room.
You stand in the front not looking at those before you scared of what the person holding you will do. You can feel their stairs and hear their whispers and the sound of some moving as you breath slowly in and out in and out trying to calm yourself. A shot rings out followed by two more bringing you back from your train of thought.
You feel hot metal pressed against you skin and all goes quiet again as a click is heard. You never thought that you would come upon a situation such as the one presented but your mind never wavers on what the outcome will be. Your pulse quickens and your mind is filled with different outcomes not one has this ending well.
You finally look up to see three holes in the far wall and notice that three people were only five inches away from each of them. You and everyone stair wide-eyed at the holes until the assailant speaks causing chills to travel down your spine.
"Next time someone moves I can promise you I won't miss."
