A small girl, no older than five was rushed into a large church. She looked at the guards surrounding her, trying to find a familiar face behind the dark glasses. As two of the seven men and women take position at the large doors, two others head to the back entrance as the last three lead the terrified girl into a back room.

"Where are my Momma and Papa?" She asked as she clutches a toy puppy to her chest. It was a gift she had received less then two hours ago from her parents. The three men remain quiet. They walk around the room, checking all air vents for anything that shouldn't be there before leaving the room, locking it from the outside.

As soon as she heard the click of the lock the young girl runs to the door, banging her small fist against it as she cries to be let out. A scream of pain from the front of the church and the sound of gun fire makes the girl stop screaming and step back from the door afraid. More gun fire and screams are heard along with footsteps growing closer to the door.

The young girl looks around for a place to hide. All the vents were covered and the only piece of furniture she could fit under was a chair. She runs to it quickly, curling up underneath it as she hugged her puppy tightly to her chest.

The screams and gun fire stop and for a moment all that could be heard was the girls breathing. Just as she was about the come out from under the chair the door open. All she could see of the person was his feet and legs, covered by running shoes and dark denim jeans. She moves closer to the wall, careful not to make any noise.

The man stood near the door, not entering the room fully as if waiting for something to happen. The girl never took her eyes of his legs as he turns on the hill of his foot to face the door again. She waited until she couldn't see his feet or hear his footsteps before letting out a soft sigh closing her eye.

"Jordan," a male voice whispers as she opens her eyes. A ear splitting scream sounded around the entire church before everything fell silent and a man walks out the church, with the girl passed out on his shoulder.

~Note~

This is based off of a nightmare I had once as a child. This was around the time I was (and still am) obsessed with the movie Blade Trinity. It has been slightly altered but is pretty much the same as the original nightmare.
