Angela POV

It's been a few days since that comment Reyes made,so I've kept my distance from him. He's always scaring me. I'll just be walking down the hall when out of nowhere,the edge lord himself appears.

I'll be getting lunch,oh look an apple. NOPE. Mr edge will take it and walk away.

But I have been making friends. There's a talking ape,called Winston and he's really smart. Then there's Lena. She's the fast one who always hangs out with Winston. But I've been really close with Lúcio. He's so funny and like a little brother to me.

I've already been on a few missions,but just in the back has a doctor,never out on the real field. Törbjorn,a really funny dwarf,made me a gun,but still I refuse to use it. He says I'm being stubborn,but I'm here to just heal.

Today was free day. When we don't have to train,but still go on missions,if the alarm goes off.

I was at my desk in the medical bay,Lúcio just sitting in a chair, listening to me rant about a doctor office tv show and say how stupid it is. Like how one person cheated on someone with their boss.

"That's now how life at the doctors office works!" I say doing some more paperwork,"It's just a tv show Angie." Lúcio says sighing as he looks down at his phone.

"I'm aware it's a tv show,but none of that stuff actually happens! Any relationship with a co worker is prohibited." I say typing.

"That's why there's a tv show,it makes it interesting. The more drama, the more people will want to watch it." Lúcio says eating a pocky stick.

"Well maybe if they showed a real hospital,and real people, they would get even more views." I say spinning around in my spiny chair.

"I have an idea." Lúcio says standing up.

"What is it?" I say.

Lúcio grabs my chair,"Hold on tight." He says as he pushes the chair down the halls. We go faster barely hitting walls and almost flying down the stairs. Almost.

Of course edge lord himself just pops up out of nowhere,and we may have ran him over by accident.

Lúcio helps me up and we stare at Reyes. "What do we do?" I say to Lúcio. "He's not moving."

Suddenly Reyes stands up,"You kids should have never joined." He growls and pins Lúcio by the neck to the wall. "Stop!" I say trying to pull him off.

He glares down at me and throws Lúcio to the ground and walks away.

"What's his problem?" I say helping Lúcio up.

"He's always been like that,he wants to be the leader of overwatch,but they chose Morrison instead of him." Lúcio says looking at Reyes walk away. Reyes was such a jerk.

"Let's head back." I say glaring back at Reyes.

We walk back to the medical bay and make jokes about how edgy he is. "I bet he sleeps in sadness." Lúcio says. We both crack up.

Morrison walks in and stares at us,"Um Doctor Ziegler?" Morrison says and we both look at him.

"Yes?" I say walking towards him still chuckling a bit.

"We think it's time you actually be in the front lines helping." He says handing me the gun Torbjörn made for me,"You would be much more of use in the front line."

"But,I can't. I don't have the heart to kill." I say taking the gun and looking up at him.

"You'll learn to fight." He says paying my head as he walks out the medical bay. I can't shoot someone let alone kill anyone. That training I get is for in worse case scenarios.

"Well,now at least I'll get to see you a lot more." Lúcio says walking over to me. I'm still frozen,what if I just break down on the field? That would be embarrassing.

"Don't worry you can close your eyes." He says patting my back as he hands me a pocky stick.

I take the pocky stick and walk back to my desk,"You'll be fine,I'm gonna head back to my room." He says exiting the med bay

I stare at the gun, I can't. Ever since the day my parents were killed,I never wanted to harm anything. I know a real human didn't kill my parents,but it still hurt.

You can't just kill people,you don't know their lives. They could have a wife or husband. They could have kids that could be in kinder garden waiting every day to see their parents walk though the front door.

When overwatch was formed I though they were heroes,fighting the robots that killed so many people. I had posters in my room,of everyone and looked up to them. But now that I'm here I don't feel like a hero.

The alarm goes off,and I stare at the gun one more time. I sigh and grab it.

Alright another chapter,I has major writers block,but I have ideas now and will continue the book!
Also,I'm not that good with writing battle scenes so,don't judge me.

Also thanks for the reads! I'm really enjoy writing this book and can't wait to write some more chapters!
