Gabriel's POV (new POV 😏)

After a meeting with Morrison,I head down to my room. On my way there I see Lúcio walking out of the medbay,he was giggling like some high school girl.

"I'll just get you a candle." He says walking down the hall. I can hear Angela sighing,I guess she doesn't like what he's thinking.

I see her run after him,her basically tackling him. They tumble down the hall and I stare at them.

"Never!" I hear Lúcio say as he tries to stand. Angela is still pinning him down saying something that I can't make out.

"Ahem." I say. They look up at me.

"Oh hello Reyes." Lúcio says standing up,he helps Angela up as well.

"What was that all about?" I say looking down at them. They look like kids that just got in trouble,and I feel like the teacher.

"Well it's Angie's-" Lúcio says but Angela interrupts him by elbowing him in the side.

"Ow." He says rolling his eyes at Angela. She gives him the death glare,she obviously learned that from me. I am the master at it.

"Well?" I say.

"It's Angie's birthday in 3 days." He says grinning at Angela who goes pale. Her birthday?

"Is that so?" I say raising an eyebrow. Lúcio looks at Angela,she nods her head. She's so cute when she's embarrassed. I lower my eyebrow and walk off.

"Good to know." I say walking off. I can't give away any hints about Angela and I. She's tried her best too,like when I'll say something mean she'll backlash it right back at me.

Ever since that mission I've finally been able to get closer to her. Hopefully this goes well. I really like her,she's so quirky and innocent.

Soon little winks and small hugs on the battlefield won't be enough for me. I want to be her boyfriend,but I'll soon be stationed at blackwatches's new facility. It's close and I will visit here a lot,just not as much as I do now since I still live here.

I'll have to tell her soon,but it's almost her birthday,I can't just drop that bomb on her on her birthday. I'm not that heartless.

Angela POV

I look at Reyes walk away,then I glare again at Lúcio who's got a maniacal grin on his face. God I wish I could just punch that grin off his face.

"Great,now mr edge knows." I say pretending to still hate Reyes.

"Now he can come to the birthday party." Lúcio says.

"I don't want him at this party. I don't even want a party Lúcio." I say sighing. Ok maybe I secretly do because I haven't had one in like forever.

"Honey trust me,I'm throwing you a party." He says walking off. One day Lúcio,one day I will be able slap him without feeling bad. Until that day comes I can't even touch him.

Ok I may have tackled him,but that's different.

Actually it's not that different.

What ever,I have training anyways. I head down to the training facility. Training today was really hard,I don't know if they put the simulation on hard mode or I'm just really bad. Which of I'm being modest,I think it's the first one.

After training,I walk down to my room. On the way there I see Morrison talking to a man,he has semi long hair and looks like a cowboy.

As I'm walking Morrison looks at me and signals me to walk over to him.

I walk over,"...and this is Dr. Ziegler. She is head of our medical department here at overwatch." Morrison says.

"Hello." I say and I shake hands with him.

"Hi,I'm Jesse. Jesse Mcree." He says as we stop shaking hands.

"Sorry I just came out of training. I'm all sweaty." I awkwardly say as I realize my hands it all sweaty. He chuckles a bit.

"Well I have a meeting to attend to. Sorry to leave you like this Jesse." He says.

"Nah that's alright sir." He says asking hands with Morrison one last time before Morrison walks away.

"Well,do you mind showing me around?" He says. I freeze for a bit. I look around and then I point at me. He wants me to show him round?

"Yes you." He says smiling.

"Oh well,ok then." I say as I gesture him to follow me. I show him the training facility,medical bay,monitor room,cafeteria and the sections where we sleep.

"So that's just the main building aera." I say. "So are you joining?" I ask.

"Yeah,they called me in." He says in that western accent. He was so manly,God I'm such a dweeb. I think every guy here is manly.

"So what's a girl like you doing here?" He says looking down at me.

"I get that question a lot." I say blushing. "They also called me in,I was the head doctor at Switzerland's medical association,then started getting into nano science,helped finds cures. All those reasons." I say.

"Well,aren't you smart." He says playfully punching my arm. I feel like a 3rd grader talking to a 7th grader. He's just so much bigger than me.

"Well,soon you'll get your ID. That will let you open lots of cool doors I guess." I say as we walk down to the front area. We talk some more, he says a few jokes,I laugh like a total dweeb,everything's all fine and dandy, until mr edge comes into the front office.

"Oh,and this is Gabriel Reyes,also one of the commanders here." I say as Reyes walks towards us.

"Nice to meet you." Jesse says holding out his hand. I freeze when Reyes stares at it. I look at him and he looks at me. I start eye motioning at Jesse's hand. Just shake his hand.

Reyes looks back and Jesse and shakes his hand and I let out a small sigh.

"Nice to meet you too." He says,he still isn't smiling so it looks like he's being sarcastic. Well i guess it's sort of true. Reyes obviously doesn't seem too fond of Mcree. I start to worry a bit.

"I've heard that a new member was joining us today." He says as they stop shaking hands.

Everyone is silent for a bit.

"Well,I'm just gonna go. I still haven't showered so,you two socialize." I walk waving goodbye to them. They wave back,Jesse smiling,while Reyes being his edgy self.

I hope they become good friends.

Now to deal with Lúcio.

Ok! Now Mcree has entered overwatch,wonder if he'll be an interference between Angela and Reyes? I guess we'll just have to find out.

Also,since it's is before the explosion and all that,most of the characters you see now will be implemented into the story later in time.
