Gabriel POV

I walk into the medbay, there she was. IVs attached all around her,a breathing mask over her small face, and her hair which was a bit longer than I had expected since is was always up in a pony tail.

"Hello Reyes." Athena said walking over to me,her voice all robotic.

"Define case." I say,she sort of only understands main phrases.

"Ziegler has 12 areas where the bullet came in contact. 4 in the abdomen,2 in her arms and 6 in her legs. Condition critical." She says waiting for me to say something.

"Medical flies uploaded to my data base in which I was able to extract the bullets and close the wounds." She continues chatting.

"Due to major blood loss,he had to have a donor." She says and I peek over her shoulder,I see Mcree sitting in a chair with a gauze over the crook in arm. He looks up,at me and gives me a thumbs up.

I look back at Athena.

"Thank you." I say,she walks off and I walk over to Angela. I can't show public displays of affection,but I just want to cry and cradle her so badly.

I was called over here by Morrison,he told me about Angela and wanted me to see her. He was talking about final moments,what an ass.

"Usually,when I would get shot or anyone else, she would just fix us up. But she can't do that now." Mcree says,he was in a chair next to Angela.

He moves his hand over her's. Being gentle,trying not touch the IV connected to it. I glare at him.

"Don't pretend." He says and I raise my eyebrow.

"What do you mean?" I ask. Obviously he must know about Angela and I.

"She's told me everything." He says looking down at her. She was so pale.

"She really does miss you ya know." He says,I close my eyes and take a deep breath. If only she knew I missed her too,I look back at Jesse.

"Listen here cowboy,you never had a chance with her." I says and he smirks.

"Alright,what ever you say." He says leaning back in his chair. God I could just snap his neck if he were to even look at Angela again.

She looks like a true angel,her hair was down to her shoulders giving her that angelic look,the hospital dress was big on her frail body,the only thing making me want to cry were the bandages wrapped tightly around her body.

I can't take it anymore. If I stay any longer I am sure to break down with tears right now. I sigh and walk away.

"You not gonna stay?" Mcree says. I look back at him.

"No." I say and I walk out the medical bay and head down to Morrison's room.

Jesse's POV

I watch him leave,what a wimp. If he truly loved her then he would stay until she woke up,which I am doing. It's been kind of boring,the only thing they really needed me for was the blood donation. I'm here by choice.

I sigh and look at her,I do have to admit,she's beautiful.

If Reyes wasn't a problem,I would have already taken her and never let go. It was kind of a bummer when she admitted her and Reyes were in a relationship.

I always said to her that I wasn't interested but I really am. I mean come on,who wouldn't be interested in her,she is a legit angel.

Lena came by and dropped off a ton of sticky notes with pictures and messages for Angela. It's seems that everyone made their own sticky note.

I look over some and they are all sweet.

I glance back at Angela,she doesn't need a man like Reyes,if anything he's just a man that likes her for her looks. I truly see her as a strong and kind woman. I would be there for her,I wouldn't except a job somewhere else as long as she's coming with me.

I sigh as I close me eyes,I just hope she wakes up.

Time skip 2 weeks later

Angela POV

I slowly open my eyes,I remember everything. I was shot and then some people came and brought me here,not very detailed,but I just don't know every detail.

I look up,it's dark,it must be night. I look beside me and I don't see anyone,I look at the other side and see Jesse with his hat over his face. He must be sleeping.

I quietly slouch up,every movement hurt,but I didn't want to wake him up. I sit up and look around some more,the only light was a dim lamp next to my beside. I see Athena charging in the corner. I quietly sigh,I look at the calendar,it's been 2 weeks?

That guy must have really knocked me out. Speaking of which,did we win? How is Reyes? Does he know about me? I look down at my hands,they were bony and my nails have grown a bit.

I reach for my face,but I can't move it up any further. The IV I'm connected to is short,I place my arm back down and look back at Mcree.

He looks so peaceful,even though he is in a tiny chair.

I look down at my body and see bandages everywhere,I look at my legs. I'm probably not,gonna be able to stand for a bit.

I'm startled when Jesse jumps at the sight of me. He sits op straight and places his hat on the floor,he clears his throat and grins a bit.

"Hi." He says.

"Hi." I say grinning back. The room is silent for a while,I hate silence to be honest.

"So,did Reyes visit me?" I ask and he looks down. What?

"He did,only once though." He says and my grin fades. I know he wants to keep our relationship secret,but he only visited me once?

"Oh." I say. Jesse places his hand over mine. I look up at him,he smiles.

"Everyone made sticky notes for you." He says looking at the notes next to my bedside. That nice.

"How sweet." I say smiling as I try to grab the notes,but I wince at the IV pulling at my hand when I try to grab the sticky notes.

"Oh,let me get them." He says handing me the sticky notes.

"Thanks." I say looking through them,there were a lot from Lúcio. I keep looking and none from Reyes. That hurts a bit but I guess he really doesn't want anyone to know about us.

"About Reyes,do you think he really loves you?" Jesse asks and I look up at him confused.

"Of course he loves me,he just doesn't want anyone to know about us." I say giving him the sticky notes back. He places them back on the bedside table and sighs.

"I'm just not sure." He says.

Of course he loves me,Jesse doesn't understand.
