Prologue:
{Marilyn POV}
I sighed contentedly as Shannon traced patters on my bare chest. “Mmm… I missed this.”
She giggled softly as I trailed my hand up and down her side lightly. “Me too…” I saw a glint in her eyes that I recognised…and liked. “Could we…”
I smiled at how she left the sentence hanging; I knew exactly when she meant. “Oh,” I rolled us so that she was below me. “We definitely can.”
She moaned softly as I kissed her and ground against her gently. God, she was so wet…I growled lightly. I had to have her… We both froze as we heard the baby begin to cry. We both let out frustrated groans.
“Damn…” Shannon murmured as she gave me a gentle push. I rolled us so that she was straddling me. This was our perfect life…and I was never going to lose her ever again…
I smiled as Shannon came back into our room after seeing to little Abigail. “She okay?” I asked as she came to stand beside the bed again.
“Yeah, she’s alright.” Shannon smiled as I held out a hand to her and she took it, entwining her fingers with mine. “Just restless…only needed to sing her a lullaby and she drifted right off to sleep again.”
“Well, that’s good.” My smile quickly turned into a naughty smirk. “Now,” I murmured as I tugged back onto the bed. “Where were we?”
I watched as Shannon lifted my borrowed shirt over her head and moved to straddle me. “Just about…here…”
