Moving

"Celest?" Hailey said in surprise. "Omg Celest is that you?" She said going to her. The girl left Marcus and went to hug Hailey. Marcus saw my tears but I quickly rubbed them. "Hailey! How are you? I missed you so much!" The girl said. "I missed you too! What are you doing here?" Hailey said. "I moved here couple of weeks ago." Celest said. "Umm... Guys I am going back." I said. "I am coming with you." Alissa said. "Wait for me too!" Marcus said. "Where are you going Marcus? I want to talk to you. Didn't you miss me." She said in a childish voice. I am leaving right now! I angrily left them and only Alissa followed. "I don't know that girl, but I already hate her." Alissa said as we walked into Jake's room. "I already want to rip her throat out! 'Marcus didn't you miss me'." I said mimicking her, Alissa laughed. "It's serious right now." I said. "Sorry." She said and there was a knock on the door. "We are here!" Lucas said. "Finally! Why didn't you get Marcus and Hailey with you?" Alissa asked. "I didn't want to go to them, that girl Celest wouldn't stop talking to me and I don't like her." He said. "Can we just stop talking about this girl already. She makes me wanna throw up." I said rolling my eyes. "Is someone jealous or something?" Alissa said. "What Jealous? I just don't like her." I said. We had our drinks and talked for a while then Jake came and said he finished filming. We left for their apartment. Still didn't hear from Hailey nor Marcus. We were on our phones when Jake screamed, "OMG, guys we got the house!!" "Really?" Alissa and Neels said in excitement. "Yes!! We can move tomorrow." Jake said. "Okay, I don't really know it, but it seems you guys got a house and moving. Congratulations!" I said. "Thank you." They said in sync. "I am coming over tomorrow to help you guys." I said. "That's so nice of you!" Alissa said. "I got to go. See you. Lucas are you coming?" I said. "Not yet, I am waiting for them. " Lucas said."Let me drive you." Jake said. "No, it's okay. My sister is on her way." I said and left. Of course I didn't call Tara, she will ask so many questions about Hailey and Marcus. Especially Marcus. So, I ordered an uber and got home. "I am back!" I said. "Hey. Where're your friends?" Tara said. "They are coming later. I am going to sleep." I said. "This early?" Tara said but I didn't answer. I went to my room and got a text from Marcus.
-Marcus: Where are you?
-Me: Home. Why?
-Marcus: I am leaving, Hailey is staying for some more time. Can you send me the location exactly?
-Me: Sure.
I showered and changed into shorts and tank top and sat on my bed. I texted Hailey and asked her when she's coming home, but she didn't answer. Of course she's still with that girl Celest. Who's she? And why did she show up and took Hailey and Marcus away? "Yeah,She's in her room." I heard Tara say. I quickly put my phone away and there was a knock on the door. I pretended to be asleep. "I am coming in." I heard Marcus say. What now? He opened the door and stood next to my bed, "Are you really sleeping at this time?" He said. He sat on my bed, "Mia, I know you are awake, get up!" He said. I tried hard not to move. "Fine, look at this phone that I can open with your finger right now." He said and was reaching for my phone. "Don't you dare!" I said. "I knew it! Why are you pretending to be a sleep?" He said. "I am not. I am trying to sleep." I said. "Why are you mad?" He asked. "Who said I am?" I said. "Well, you sleep early when you are mad or sad. Now, why are you mad? Is it Celest?" He asked lowering his voice. "No. Why should I worry about her anyway?" I said looking away. "So you aren't curious about who is she?" He said raising an eyebrow. "Not even a little bit." I said. "I know you want to know. So, She is Hailey's best friend from elementary school. She had a brother older than us by a year, but he passed away when we were young. He made me promise him that I'll take care of Celest. She's like a sister to me nothing more." He said. I felt relieved. Without noticing I was now ridiculously smiling. "Oh look at this beautiful smile now!" Marcus said smirking. "What smile? I told you I don't care about her." I said and he laughed. "Are you still going to sleep?" He asked. "Yeah, Jake and Alissa got a house and I am helping them move tomorrow." I said. "Okay. Good night." He said with a warm smile and left. I don't know weather I should be sad for her brother's death or be happy that she's just Marcus's friend? I drifted to sleep.
*Next Morning*
I woke up and Hailey was sleeping by my side. I changed to jeans and grey sweater and pink and blue scarf. I went downstairs and Tara was up. "Good Morning." I said. "Morning. Marcus asked about you last night." She said. "Yeah, we talked." I said making coffee. "Aha, that's why you're smiling this morning." She said. "Can you please stop these stuff?" I said. "You are really weird, as long as you like him just go and tell him!" She said and before I could talk Marcus came downstairs. "Good Morning." He said. "Good Morning." Me and Tara said. "I am going to Jake's house, you coming?" I asked Marcus. "Yeah, and Lucas is getting ready but I don't know about Hailey." He said. "I will wake her up." I said and went upstairs. "Hey." Hailey said while doing her hair. "You are coming with us right? Or you are going with your friend who you stayed with all day yesterday?" I said rolling my eyes. "Of course I am not leaving my best friend alone. I will stick to you to death. Sorry for yesterday." She said giving me a hug. "Fine. Let's go." I said. I drove to Jake's apartment and we helped them move all day. They moved to a big house, it's so beautiful. "I am so tired!" I said when we were all sitting on the couches. "Me too!" They all said. "I am hungry!" Marcus said. "I ordered Pizza." Jake said. "Yes!!" Alissa screamed. "Thank you guys so much for helping us today." Neels said. "Hey girls, what about you move in with us? You can stay in my room and we can have girls night every night!" Alissa said in excitement. "I don't know... I" I said. "Pleeeeeease, There aren't any girls here, and I am tired of this boys life." She said. I looked to Hailey and said, "We will see." I said. "You too twins! We have a room for you." Neels said. "I am okay with this!" Lucas said in excitement. "All of you move in here and we will have so much fun!" Jake said in excitement.
*At Home*
I knocked on my dad's door and entered. "Dad? Do you have some time?" I asked. "Of course!" He said. "Ammm, so my friends who live here in LA have moved to another house which is much bigger and they want me to move with them, it's only for some time as I am already going back to Maryland." I nervously said. My dad was quite for some time then he said, "Okay, but one condition." He said. "Anything!" I said. "Visit my everyday." He said. "Of course! Thank you so much!!" I said and hugged him.
*Next day*
Hailey and I will only move our clothes, cause we are staying in Alissa's room. She had bunk beds for us. Now, we are shopping with the twins for their room. "I like this one!" I said. "Mia, it's a pink lampshade!" Marcus said. "So what! Pink is a beautiful color." I said. "A-girlish color." He said. "Whatever." I said. "What do you think of this one?" He asked. "It's beautiful!" I said. "Okay, I am getting it. Just because you liked it." He said smirking. "Still, the pink one was better." I said rolling my eyes.
*After moving*
"I am so happy that you girls are staying with me these couple of weeks!!" Alissa said in excitement. "Me too!" I said. "Thank you girls for helping us with the stuff." Lucas said. "Don't mention it." I said. We talked for a while then the bell rang. "I got it!" I said. I opened the door and Celest stood there before me. "Hi, I am Celest. You must be Mia!" She said.
