Confession

*Marcus's prov*
I went to my room to change my clothes then go back downstairs and sit with the squad. Right after I closed the room's door, Lucas came in. "Hey bro!" I said then I saw Hailey following him. "We have something to tell you." Lucas said and closed the door. "Lucas, what is it? I am worried." I said. "It's about Celest. She met me the day after you dated Mia. And she said she won't let Mia have you and will go after her. First I thought she was kidding but after she came to the party that day I got scared. She can hurt Mia anytime." Hailey said. I was shocked. Celest used to be the nice,cute girl I don't know what happened to her. "But why is she doing this?" I said. "As if you don't know." Lucas said and I shook my head. "She's in love with you. When you dated Mia she turned into crazy ass bitch. We need to stop her ASAP!!" Hailey said. Since we got here, she kept sticking to me in such a scary way. I thought she did like me but now I am sure. But I only consider her my younger sister. "Marcus what is taking you so long?!" Alissa yelled from outside. "Coming in 5!" I shouted then I heard footsteps which means she's gone. Lucas and Hailey left And I quickly changed and went downstairs. I sat on the couch and we watched Bizaardvark. Mia isn't here yet. "Hey Mia! Have a seat." Alissa said. Mia looked nervous. "Marcus, can I talk to you for a sec?" She asked and I got up. We went to the kitchen. "You don't look good. What's wrong?" I asked taking her hand. "Marcus it's Celest." She nervously said. "What did she do?" I asked. "She sent a picture of us to my mother telling her I am missing around cause she's not here with me. But the pics were sent to Emily instead of mum." Mia said. "What makes you think it's Celest?" I asked. "I don't. I am sure. And I am going to stop her." She said. "No. You will stay away from this. I will solve it." I said. "But Marcus I..." She started. "Mia no. Don't get involved." I seriously said. "I am afraid our relationship is a mistake." She said in a low voice when she was walking away, but I stopped her by grabbing her arm. "Don't ever say this,okay? We will get through this. I promise." I said and kissed her. "I hope so." She said after breaking the kiss. Then she went upstairs. I called Lucas and Hailey to the kitchen to tell them about it. "That asshole." Hailey said. "Where did she get all these courage from?" Lucas said. "I don't know. But we have to act." I said. "I am going upstairs to Mia." Hailey said.
*Mia's prov*
Marcus doesn't want me to do anything to Celest. But she was about to ruin my life which means she's dealing with me not Marcus. I left Marcus and I was kinda angry. I have to meet Celest. Marcus was still in the kitchen after a while Lucas and Hailey went to him. I went to his room and took Marcus's phone from the table and opened the messages and texted Celest.
-Me: Meet me tomorrow at Starbucks by 9:30
-Hailey: What for?
-Me: I have something to confess to you.
-Hailey: Sure. Waiting for you!
I erased the message and put the phone back down. "Is there something wrong?" Alissa asked walking in the room."No." I said with a smile then went to my room. I am facing that Celest, she can't get into my life and I let her go with it. "Mia?" Someone said knocking on the door. It was Hailey. I pretended to be asleep. "Oh, you are sleeping." She said quietly then left. However, I drifted to sleep. Important day tomorrow.
*Next Morning*
I got up early by 8 o'clock. Everyone was still sleeping. Good. I changed to grey adidas hoodie and black pants with sneakers. I passed by Marcus's room and he was sleeping. I went downstairs and left before anyone get's up and see me. I didn't go straight to Starbucks, I wasted some time then went there late. On purpose. I saw Celest from outside, she was wearing makeup and stupidly smiling. She thinks it's really Marcus. That bitch. "Hope you aren't waiting for someone." I said. She was surprised. "Actually I am. They are on their way." She said. "I will keep you company till they come." I said with a smile and sat down. "No thanks I will.." She said. "You are trying to ruin my life. And I understand why. But do you really think Marcus will fall for you this way?" I asked. "I...I don't know what you're talking about." She nervously said. "Stop playing. I know it was you who sent the pictures." I said. She smirked and sat properly. "Yea, that thing. Well, yes it was me." She said. "And I thought you were that cute beautiful little girl." I said and she laughed. "Every girl is cute until you take something that is hers." She said. "Does your head seem really light? Cause I think you lost your brain." She got furious. "Cause, what I know is, if this thing didn't stay with you then it doesn't like you. Then it's never been yours." I said calmly. "Marcus is mine. He always have!" She said. "Then explain how he is mine now? Oh wait he chose me over you." I said she got even madder. "Don't be so happy, your mom won't accept this." She said with a smirk. "Didn't I tell you? My mum already knows about our relationship!" I said and she was shocked. "How? You told me.." She said. "I got confused when you asked about her. I was un comfortable. So I told her about it on the phone. And she can't wait to see me and Marcus!" Celest froze in place. She was struck by lightning. "Anyway, I am done here. Have a good day!" I said getting up she didn't reply. I left. I got an uber to home, I felt a little relieved after what I did. It won't take Celest long till she finds out that I am lying. So, I have to till my mum as soon as possible. I had missed calls from Hailey and Marcus. Of course,They are up by now. "There you are!" Hailey said. "Baby, where have you been?" Marcus said then kissed me. "Finishing some unfinished work." I said and went upstairs. Marcus followed. "Mia, where have you been?" He said closing the door. "You met Celest didn't you?" He asked and I didn't answer. "Mia, I told you don't get involved!" He said in kind of yelling. "I just couldn't stay still okay,Marcus!" I yelled back. "Okay. What did you tell her." He said calmly letting out a sigh. "I said my mother knew about our relationship before she send the pics." I said. "What? What if she sniffs around and finds out that your mother doesn't know about it?" He asked. "I don't know Marcus. I just don't know." I said almost crying. "Hey..hey c'mere it's okay." Marcus said pulling me into a hug. "Marcus I have to tell my mum.....I have to go back to Maryland as soon as possible." I said. "Let's wait,okay? We are already leaving in two days." He said and I hugged him tight. 
*At the airport*
I didn't hear from Celest since the last time we talked. She must be in shock that her evil plan didn't work as she out. But I am relieved that finally I am telling my mum about my relationship with Marcus. Also scared. Tara drove us to the airport. "I am gonna miss you all so much." She said. "Gonna miss you,too!" I said hugging her. "Will miss you too,Marcus! Take care of my little sister, don't ever dare to leave her or make her sad!" Tara said and they hugged.
*At Maryland*
Emily was driving us home. She's gonna drop us first then Lucas and Hailey so Marcus and I have time to talk to my mother. "I will try to stay out for long. Best wishes!" Emily said when we got home. "Keep us updated." Lucas and Hailey said in sync and I nodded. I was nervous. "Hey, it's gonna be okay. I am here." Marcus said with a smile. I opened the door. "Mum? I am home!" I said. "My little girl!! I missed you so much!" My mum said hugging me. "I missed you too!" I said. "Hey Marcus. How are you?" She asked. "I am doing great. Thanks ma'am." Marcus said. We sat on the couch and talked for a while, then I said. "Mum? I have something to tell you." I said. "Marcus and I are......dating." I said and Marcus took my hand and squeezed it. "Ma'am, I swear I love your daughter deeply and I will nev.." Marcus started. "Out of my house." My mother said calmly. "But mum yo.." I said. "Right now!" She's yelling now. "Mum, you can't do this!" I said. "Mia, can't you see where your dating choices had lead us? The boys will date you just to have fun! None will really love you,care for you or even think about you! They are just kids!! And you kid! You better stay away from my daughter. Now out of my house!" She yelled and she started pushing Marcus outside, I kept stoping and preventing her but it didn't work out. Now Marcus is out of the house and she closed the door. "Mum why did you do this!! Why do you always have to stay on my way to happiness?!" I yelled and went to my room and closed the door. I was crying. So hard. I kept myself together and texted Marcus. 'Marcus, please don't go.'. Seconds later someone opened my window and came in. Marcus.
