A Whoppin Combo: Finn And Jake / Fionna And Cake

Jake wakes up. He stretched his way into the kitchen and made some bacon, eggs, and juice for Finn to have some breakfast in bed. Seeing how troubled his buddy was, he thought some morning food would help. He prepared to the food on a dish and small table and stretched his way back to their bed room, only to find Finn staring blankly on the ceiling. "Finn, did you just lay there all night without sleeping?" Finn answered him without breaking his stare. "Yeah, man. I was all soul-searchy last night." Jake was getting worried. "Finn, that's not healthy, bro. Eat some breakfast first. It'll help your brain." Finn started eating, but he never stopped staring at the ceiling.

Over at Fionna and Cake's, Fionna was having a nightmare. It was Aaa, but it looked different. Everything was globbed up. "Cake! Gumball! Anyone!" No one was there. Something creeped up behind her. It was Finn, but something was off about him. His blue soft eyes were black and green. His face started to melt. Before Fionna could react, Finn big her face off. "AaaaAahhhh." she was screaming and rustling furiously. "Fionna! Baby, it's ok. It was just a dream." Cake comforted her until she came down. "I had the worst nightnare ever." She was sweating cold sweat down her neck. "It's ok now, honey. Let's go get some breakfast."

Fionna and Cake were having breakfast, when they heard Finn shouting outside. "Hey, FIONNA!" He was really excitable at the moment and even more so when Fionna came out. "Hey, dude. What's up?" Finn took a second and inhaled. "You see, there's this monster thing right outside of the candy kingdom and I was hoping you might wanna go kill it with me. But if you don't want to that's also great cuz you're great- uhm, I mean you're a great fighter a-" Finn was cut off by the sight of Fionna barging out of the door on Cake's back. "Adventure time!" Finn was smiling and giggling uncontrollably. Jake picked him up and carried him on the way.

When they were getting close to the Candy kingdom, they saw a giant Ogre attacking the the candy people. Finn got into the Jake suit and Cake went Mace mode for Fionna. The monster wad about to get Cinnamon Bun, when Finn kicked its hand away. Fionna bashed the ogre's head and cuts it off with her retractable sword. The monsters body was going to fall on the Candy kingdom, so Finn jumped up and pushed it the other way. But the monsters body crumbled into little pieces. It was apparently made of candy materials. "Good job, guys. An excellent experiment indeed." Princess Bubblegum walked out of the candy ogre's torso, and coming out with her was Prince Gumball. "Sorry we didn't tell you about it. PB and I needed to see how you guys would work as a team in the face of danger." Fionna and Finn high fived each other for the great work. "That was a lot of fun. You're one heck of adventurer." Fionna blushed at the compliment. "Yeah, we make a great team don't we." They stared at each for a few moments. Jake and Cake pushed them together until their lips almost touched. "JAKE! Not cool, man!" embarassed of almost kissing they just turned away from each other. "Cake!" Fionna shouted with great annoyance. "Sorry baby, we were just fooling around." Jake was still at teasing Finn. "I bet you're mad cuz you didn't get to kiss her." Finn hid his tomato face and looked at Fionna who was almost equally as red.

After their morning adventure, Finn and Fionna decided to walk around the forest, while Jake and Cake went of to see Lady and Chrome. "Hey, I remember this hole. This is where FP and me had our first kiss." They looked down down the deep hole and it reminded Fionna of her first with Flame Prince. "Yeah, I kept the rock we kissed. I guess I'm still a bit messed up about our break up." Fionna brought out the burnt stone from her bag. Finn brought out his own stone. They looked at it for a while then at each other. They noticed that it didn't burn that much anymore. They threw the stone down the whole and a great weight was lifted from their chest.
