Too Perfect: Finn And Jake / Fionna And Cake

Fionna stayed in her room until dinner was ready. She kept thinking about the great afternoon she spent with Finn. But with her sweet daydreams cam the memory of the nightmare she had. An unsettling feeling replaced the warm ones she just had. Cold sweat suddenly formed on her forehead. Cake comes up to see a worried looking Fionna panthing in her bed. "What's wrong, hon?" She took a step closer before Fionna started to speak. "I remembered my dream. The one that I got munched on by zombie Finn. But this time, the cosmic owl was there." Cake's tail frizzed up at what she said. "So you had a croak dream? Fi, this ain't no joke. This is serious bizz, girl!" Fionna had a bad feeling. If her croak dream comes true, all of life on Ooo or Aaa might all be in danger. She knew what she had to do, but it wasn't going to be fun.

"Woohoo, yeah!" Finn was hyped up. Running around and being all blooby and stuff. "Woah! Calm down bro, you haven't even had supper yet." Finn didn't listen. He was too happy and jumpy. "How could I, man?! Everything so math!" Jake grabs him midleap and sat him on the table. "Alright, alright. You can have your fun after some food, bro." Finn played with his bacon and eggs, making a familliar fave out of it. He smiles at the food face he made. "Ooh, someone's in love." Jake teased. "Nah, man! I was just-" "You were just thinking how great it would be to kiss Fi. Kiss me Finn, Kisss me." Jake stretched his butt to make it look like Fionna. Finn got all embarassed and spat out some milk on Jake. Suddenly someone knocked on their door. There was no one there, but there was a note. Finn brought it in and started reading.

Finn

It's Fionna. I don't know how to say this, but I can't see you anymore. I really can't explain it, but it would be better if you don't go looking for me. I'm sorry but this is for the best. Promise me Finn, swear to glob you won't come looking.

FIONNA

Finn was paralyzed. He slumped down on his chair and shook his head on his hand. "But- but why? I thought things were going great. I thought she liked me back." Jake tried to comfort his buddy. "C'mon, bro. Maybe she had a good reason. When you think about it, she's from another world and we don't know when she might be sucked back to that place. So you're better off not getting too attached." Finn doesn't react, he just stares at Fi's name, almost crying. "Don't worry Finn. There's a lot of princesses out there. You'll find one eventually." Finn stood up in frustration. "I don't WANT any other princess! I want her. She's perfect for me." Jake kept calm and tried to soothe Finn a bit. "I know you think that way, buddy. But maybe you only think she's perfect cuz she's the only human you've ever met." Finn sat back down, getting confused. Did he really just want to be with another human or was it because Fi was Fi? Was it too perfect?
