<Steph's POV>
So me and Dylan decided that we are going to adopt the boy and I am sooooo excited! I hope he likes us and he doesn't hate us. He seemed like a nice kid. Anyways so we are going tomorrow morning to fill out the paperwork and pick him up and today we are getting his room set up. In his files it says his favorite thing is baseball. So we are going to do a baseball themed room.
We are at target right now and we are picking out some room decorations and some pillows and sheets. I wonder if he would like Christmas lights or maybe that's just a girl thing.
I decide to ask Dylan "hey Dylan should we get him so Christmas lights for his room?"
"Um of course not that's ridiculous" he responds looking through some comforters.
Well geez ok then. I'm gonna go look at the electronics. He would probably like a tv and maybe an Xbox with some games. I pick out an Xbox one and some games, but I need help with the tv so I wait until Dylan is done with the decorations. After getting the decorations and the tv and everything we also go to home goods and rooms to go to get some furniture. We load it all up in Dylan's truck and take it home to drop it off.
After we drop the stuff off we run back out to the mall to get him some clothes and shoes. We run into American eagle and get him so shorts, shirts, and boxers. I e go over to academy and get him some baseball gear and athletic clothes and some new shoes. We run to a few more stores and finally we are done.
After we get home we lay Addie down for a nap and start on painting his room. We then set his bed up and the decorations after the paint dries. We set up his tv and Xbox and everything. We put all of his clothes up in his closet but obviously we will have to take him back out later when we pick him up.
Oh my gosh I'm so excited!!!! You don't even know.
It's the end of the day and I decide to make a nice home cooked meal while Addison and Dylan are outside swimming in the pool. I make some pasta with some salad and rolls. After dinner is ready I set the table and call the two inside.
As the two are running towards the back door I see that they are both soaked. No no this won't do. They will not get my house wet. I catch them right before they enter the house.
"Hold it!" I order them and they both freeze.
"But it's cold!" They both whine in unison.
I smile sweetly as I shut the door. " you can come in when you're dry" I say through the door.
I had been making cookies also for dessert so while they were drying off I pulled the cookies out of the oven. I let them cool and then set them neatly on a plate. I start washing the dishes when I hear the two walk in. I feel Dylan's arms wrap around me from behind and him kiss my shoulder.
"Thankyou for dinner" he whispers in my ear
"You're welcome sweetie" I smile at him turning around. As I'm turning around I notice the plate of cookies gone. "Did you move the cookies?" I ask Dylan.
"You made cookies?!" He asks excitedly smiling.
I narrow my eyes "Addison!" I shout from the kitchen.
No answer
"Addison Dauzat!!" I shout louder.
I hear her scream from upstairs but I've never heard her scream like that before. My motherly instincts kick in and I go running as fast as I can up the stairs. With Dylan hot on my heals.
I see a tall dark figure in the corner of Addie's room holding her with their hand over her mouth.
The figure walks into the light........
"It can't be." I whisper

Cliffhanger😏. Sorry I had to. Sooooo I've been gone for a longtime I know but I'm back. I don't have a set schedule of when I'll update I'm just gonna update whenever I have time.
