Once Bruno got his earpiece we went to the van. I got in the divers seat and Bruno got in the passengers.
"What happened with Kimi?" I asked.
"I don't know, the only two people who have any idea where she might be are unconscious so we are going to try and save her.
"Good, I have only two goals than we return." I said.
I looked over at Bruno and he nodded with a high ass looking smile.
I started the car and we were off.
"Where to?" I asked holding on to the earpiece so that Adelle can here me.
"Go on to interstate ten south, all the way until you get to Ocala. It will take about two hours so check in with me everytime you see an ocala sign." Said Adelle.
"Understood." I responded.
Right off the interstate there were several people camping out in tents.
After and hour I saw the first Ocala sign. It said fifty miles.
"Adelle, 50 miles till go time." I said as I held down my earpiece.
"All this time has made me think. If we live through this, we get to live full and normal lives." Said Bruno.
"Yeah buddy, you said it. All we have to do, is survive." I told him.
He smiled and let out a mild chuckle.
"We are about ten minutes away." I said to Adelle.
"Alright." She responded.
"Hey, Jeremiah?" Bruno said.
"Yeah." I responded.
"Once we save Kimi and when Tritsan is cured can we just stay in Adelle's house until its all over?" Said Bruno.
"You can, I can't. I have a responsibility to do." I told Bruno.
"Joey? Are you really going to risk your fucking life just for guilty vengeance." Said Bruno.
"Yes I am. He has killed to many people to be spared. I will kill him, for Haley, for Timofy, for Chris." I told him.
"Okay, okay. Don't go all ancient warrior on me. Just make sure that when you kill him, remind him of my aunt." Said Bruno glumly.
"I promise to you, her death will not be in vain. No ones will." I told him with pride.
"This is the exit." I added on as I merged to the right.
30 minutes later...
"Adelle, where will the medicine be located?" I asked.
"I should be on the fifth floor. Get ready for some stairs." Said Adelle.
We climbed up the flights of stairs and there it was straight ahead. The cabinet full of medicine.
