I am home now and everyone was in the living room, other than Tristan. They were looking at me.

"They're coming." I said as I caught my breath.

"Who?" Asked Bruno.

"The wolverines." I told them.

"Let's board up all the windows and the doors, now!" I said.

"What happened?" Asked Alyson.

"Let's board up the house first and than we will talk." I said.

"No, tell me now." Said Alyson.

"They knew I was coming. Some way, some how they knew." I said.

The reaction all over the room changed instantly. Except for Adelle.

"You!" I said as I realized that Adelle had something to do with it.

"Jeremiah, I don't know what your talking about." Said Adelle.

"Don't play innocent!" Your the reason Joey knew, aren't you?" I said.

"No, no, no!" She said.

"I don't want to hurt you, admit it. NOW!" I said.

I pulled out my gun and held it to her head.

"Okay! I told him you coming, he promised me immunity from the rest of the purge if I lead you to him." Said Adelle.

"If you weren't Alyson's friend, you would be dead right now." I told her as I put my gun away.

"Lock her in the closet and board it up." I said.

"Make this house indestructable, we are having some uninvited guest." I said.

At times like this, when I here myself, I realize how corny I am.

I went into the room where Tristan was. He was still unconscious.

"I will protect you, I promise." I said giving an oath.

I boarded up the rooms windows and left the door open and I left a gun taped under his bed.

It was really late now, twelve o'clock.

"You sure you weren't hearing things?" Asked Alyson.

"What?! I physically fought with him, I know it wasn't some kind of dream." I said.

"Okay, but its been a long time." Said Alyson.

"They will be here, we just have to be ready." I said.

"Alright, its only one day left anyway." She said.

I ignored what she said and glanced back at Tristan.

Than I began checking the cameras that Adelle had all over the city. Every camera said "trainzzz" on a peice of paper attached to it.

"Damn it! Joey is on to us!" I yelled out frustrated as I yanked my hair a little.

"I am going to find Kimi." Said Bruno.

"Really? Your going to ditch us?" I said.

"No, you ditched her. I am just making things fair." He said.

He was gone just like that, and I felt more unsafe than I ever had in my life.

We are practically defenseless to the army that the is the wolverines.

All the doors were boarded along with windows. We were officially locked down.

"We defend this hall no matter what." I said to Shay and Alyson.

"Sounds like a plan FAM." Said Shay.

"Thank you guys so much, for everything. If I don't make it, I want you guys to know that you are and will always be incredible people." I said as emotion began to store.

We all took our positions. Shay and Alyson on each side of the island in the kitchen.

I was at the front door of where Tristan was.

Than we heard a knock at the door. We also heard loading of guns.

"I know your in there, and regardless I am walking through this door. Just make it easy and open it up." Said Joey.

"No, you sick bastard. Go to hell!" I said.

"Fine, I guess I'm going to have to huff and puff and blow the house down." Said Joey followed by a cringey laugh.

"Guards go around and take it. Kill everyone except Jeremiah, he is mine." Said Joey softly.

"Get ready guys, your about to meet your maker!" Said Joey followed by more villainous like laughter.
