Recovery and down time

I woke up on a comfortable bed and warm house. I looked around and saw no one in the room. It was quite big but than I realized I had no ideas where I was.

I quickly got up and looked around for anything I could use for a weapon. I saw a picture, I shattered it and took a sharp price of glass. Than I slowly opened the door and looked each way down the hall. It was empty and clean with several paintings here and there. All organized and fancy like a rich persons house. I slowly walked down the hallway and I ended up in a huge kitchen with a fancy Island design style.

"Whoever lived here had the life." I said to myself softly.

"Well right now that person is you." Said a girl behind me.

I didn't know her or recognize her so I kept my defensives up.

"Oh please, relax. I am a friend of Alyson's. In fact she and a hairy dude brought you here. With two others." She said.

I stood quiet and watched to see if she was pulling some kind of joke. I loosened my grip on the glass and cleared my throat to speak.

"Who are you? What is this place? Whats wrong with my voice?!" I said as I began panicking because my voice scratchy and irritated.

"Ah yes the questions. My name is Adelle and you are in my multi-million dollar mansion. Alyson told me you were quite the hostile one." Said Adelle.

"Is that right? That doesn't explain my voice, plus where's Shay and Tristan?" I asked sarcastically.

"There injuries were more serious than yours so they are in a separate room. You were shot in the neck, you are lucky you can speak at all." Said Adelle.

"Where is Bruno and Alyson?" I asked.

"Ah, yes Alyson and the hairy one are out looking for a girl named Kimi." She said.

"Kimi! Oh my God! I forgot, what happened to her?" I said.

"I don't know, she is your friend not mine." Adelle said.

I began having a piercing pain in my neck.

I fell to the floor, groaning in pain as I held my neck. It was sudden and excruciating to feel.

"That must be the antibiotics and painkillers wearing off." She said.

"No shit!" I responded.

Adelle went through some of her cabinets until she opened one full of meds.

She looked around closely until she found the one that she searched for.

"Here, take two of these. This will ease your pain." She told me.

I took the pills and lifted my head. Once it completely was swallowed I asked her "Where is Shay and Tristan?"
