( Your P.O.V)
The water from the shower head flowed down over your wound, taking the crimson crust away with the dirty water. Gently, it beat down on your head and back, easing your tense shoulders, allowing you to relax a bit.
As you scrubbed your hair, ridding it from the oil that had gathered, you sighed. In your mind, you thought of the horrendous events that took place prior to where you were, now. However, instead of truly delving into them, you shook your head and turned the water off.Carefully, as not to slip, you reached for your towel and dried your hair and body without leaving the shower. The last thing you wanted to do was get their bathroom floor wet, or the towel dirty from dirt.
From earlier, you had your bag with your belongings in it, as few as they were. You pulled out a pair of jeans and a v-neck that fitted your frame and style well, along with simple undergarments. The shoes you wore were still in the other room that you were using. Once you were dressed, you brushed your hair, styling it the way you liked best. After that, you gathered your things and opened the bathroom door, letting yourself out along with the steam that gathered.
You walked back to your room, sliding your bag beneath the bed and fixing the messed up covers and blankets that were on top of it. For the day ahead you were curious. About what the two boys would do, and what the town would look like, since you only saw the beach. You couldn't help but think that Glass Shard, New Jersey made you think of a town that could use more...Funding.
Nevertheless, you shrugged your shoulders and went to go find Stanford and Stanley Pines. It took you a bit, because they weren't in their room, or the kitchen, but you soon found them outside, talking by a chrome car. It was a nice one, but, you weren't interested in vehicles enough to know which one it was.
Stanley saw you, getting Stanford's attention. He turned and you gave a shy wave.
"That was an awfully quick shower for a girl!" Stanley grinned, walking around the same side of the car as you.
Stanford rolled his eyes and looked at you. "Do you feel any better?"
You nodded your head in response to Stanford and looked back at his bigger twin. "And by the way, Stanley, if you haven't noticed? I'm not exactly a 'normal girl'." You finished, making air quotes around your words.
After all, who would run what seemed like an eternity of land just to escape from awful people and end up in new Jersey???
Oh yeah..You would.
Stanley laughed and elbowed his brother. "That's alright! All the girls around here are a bunch of nut heads, eh Fordsie?"
'Fordsie' just sighed, a crooked smile covering his face. "Of course, Stanley, of course." He looked around a the neighboring buildings.
"Not to come up with disappointment, (F/N), but Glass Shard doesn't have much to offer. My idea is to show you everything, and then can go visit the mall in the neighboring city. We can look around, and once done there, we could visit the park! Is that alright with you?"
You ran the idea over the waves of your mind. Deep down, you were glad to visit another place besides Glass Shard. The idea Stanford had was pleasant.
"Of course, Stanford! It sounds wondrous!!" You chirped, making the twins smile at you.
Stanley looked at the both of you. He pumped his fists in the air.
"All right! Let's go!"

(Stanford's P.O.V)
As soon as I got done showing (F/N) the town, we left for Falcon City Mall. However, as soon as we hit the interstate, Stanley fell asleep in the passenger side of the car. Internally, I groaned. (F/N) insisted she sit in the back. I wished that she would have been up front with me. At least the big sleeping oaf would be out of the way for a short while. I knew he wouldn't stay up. He will possibly sleep the whole hour ride there.
It left me with (F/N).
I glanced at her in the rearview mirror. She was sitting in the center of the back seat, her hands folded in her lap. Her gaze fixated on the ever changing scenery that flew by. As I watched her frame, pausing to look at the road, I felt the same thing I did earlier this week.
My heart rate quickened, and I enjoyed her company. Just watching her scattered and mingled my thoughts. It made me feel foolish and odd.
"Stanford? Is something wrong?" She spoke, her head tilted to the side.
I shook my head. "No! Everything is fine! Its just, you seem awfully quiet though. The question would best be asked from me to you."
Silence took place of the conversation. I furrowed my brow as she dropped her gaze from the mirror to her lap.
"Actually, Stanford-"
"Please, call me Ford. We are friends, after all, and there isn't a need to be so formal." I smiled back at her.
A small smile graced her face as she looked up at me.
"Okay, Ford," she said, leaning forward, resting her arms and head on the back of my seat. "Would you mind I asked you something?"
"No, of course not. Go ahead." I returned the answer as she asked her question.
"Well, you seem very intelligent for your age, despite the school that you attend. And, I couldn't help but notice that you have and extra part on each of your hands. Once you combine the two featured about you..." She paused, looking up at me once again.
I looked back at her, waiting for her to finish. Once she started speaking again, I looked back at the road, watching her in the mirror.
"Are you bullied a lot?"
The question took my breath away and made my muscles tense up. It surprised me. Her intelligence was higher than I thought and her observation skills were astounding. She must have been through so much to put things like that together so easily.
I drew in a shaky breath and she put her hand on my shoulder.
"Y-yes. But, I wasn't completely alone! Stanley was always there to get me out of the lockers...Janitor closets...Dumpsters...You know." I stopped, focusing on the road. (F/N)'s hand tightened on my shoulder.
"I wish I could have been there. Gosh, people in the world are so awful and cruel. Just because you don't match everyone else!! Not to mention how smart you are! You know, I never understood why smart ones always get picked on..Is it because they would rather use their brain than bodies? And the worst part, it gives them a bad name on both sides!! I just don't understand why people hurt and abuse others who don't look like them...Stanford, you are a gem. I am so sorry people have tried to tarnish or crack you..."
She finished, relaxing her hand. However, before she could pull it away, I reached over and placed mine on hers. The way she said it all...It was poetic and inspiring.
"Thank you...You are a lovely person, (F/N)..And I'm glad that you are here." I whispered, my face growing hot.
I looked in the mirror again and saw a slight pink dusting over her face."I am, too, Stanford Pines."
